Rear View Mirror Upgrade

Improve vision and safety in your 2002 or 320i by replacing the puny factory mirror with the larger factory one from an E-28 (5-series). It snaps into place and you don't have to worry about it coming unglued from the windshield and falling in your lap.

You will need to modify the mounting by making support plates from MDF. You don't tell us how much larger (deeper) the new speaker magnets are, compared to the puny ones on the Factory speakers. Most Car Stereo shops are capable and are accustomed to such mods.

On the 2008 ford e250 there is a two piece mirror on the left and right sides. The upper bigger mirror is still there.it's the small lower quarter mirror that came off. You have to replace both upper and lower mirrors and not just the small lower mirror. How do you remove the larger upper mirror without damaging the motor that turns the mirrors?
they snap into place but should be ablt to get the spot mirror to replace

no absolutely rubbish site. ask a question and refers you to a garage which is obviously the thing i'm trying to avoid! i want to detach a mirror from the drivers side of my kia and replace it with a new one. i do not want to take the whole wing mirror off. I can but the glass just can't get the old one off!
buy the new mirror and look at the back. these usually just snap on. you should be able to see where by looking at the new one. if not get back with me after you get the new one and tell me what you see. hope this helps more. these are usually easy to do. hope kia kept the same methods. good luck
