2000 M5. Car is locked and battery is dead. How can I open the car?
About the only hope you have is to jack the front of the car up and support with jack stands. You will have to go under the drivers side and find the Positive (Red) cable that runs to the starter. Put jumper cables, red to the red cable and black to a good ground, something like the frame. Then the other end of the cables to either a good battery or charger. You should then be able to open the doors and trunk with your remote.

Bmw air injection pump problem...HELP!
sounds like the secondary air pump has water contamination. If you unplug the connector for the air pump, and check it on cold start, did the noise go away? If the pump is bad, you need to replace the secondary air valve. Sounds like maybe it is contaminated and not seating fully.

2000 M5 battery installation.
Hi, to be certain, you have to trace the cables. The negative cable will bolt directly to the engine casting or to the frame. The positive cable will go to a terminal on the starter solenoid or to a terminal on the fuse box.

I would bet the airflow meters are failing. I've seen it many times and they won't even set fault codes.

Trouble code
The secondary air pump runs for about 2 minutes when you start the car cold. It pumps some exhaust air back into the chamber to re-burn in order to reduce emmissions. Your pump is probably working fine, but there is most likely carbon buildup in the cylinder head where the air reenters (not in the combustion chamber). This issue should not affect your engine performance, and Powerchip apparently has an ECU update which ignores this error. Many posts on this. This thread should help

Qs 5) Wheels for 2002 BMW M5 and 2008 M3?
As their make and model suggests they are different and therefore could not be interchanged, fitting a BMW M5 Wheels in the BMW M3 will not work since they have different offset, and forcing it to fit for the M3 would damage your bearing and some part of the steering in the long run, that could possibly result in an accident, innovations such as these must be first consulted from a certified BMW mechanic as only them could do the job properly and they can guarantee their job. Every Car model are engineered to perfection all of its parts are designed to work in harmony with each other, altering one of them which is not suited with other part would greatly affect the performance of your car.

have you in the past put injector cleaner into your gasoline tank yet ? If you have not that your injectors can cause this by they becoming clogged by impurities with the 87 octane gasoline so put injector cleaner into gas tank and drive like 5 miles about so the cleaner cleans the injectors.
