ur ICs need to be changed. Take it to an electrical technician and he will change it.

check the fuse an relays, check the coil for wear, check the fuel pressure at the engine, spray some carb cleaner in the intake

you have to release the bonnet and replace the entire cable houseing and inner cable. if you can send a picture of the grill I can look at how to release it from the outside so you can fix it.

Well the same thing happened to me a few months back with the exact same car but what i noticed was when i was changing the spark plugs one of the HT leads had come off the spark plug so i fitted new spark plugs and re-fit the HT leads properly - Problem solved :D

Automatic operation
With the engine running, vehicles fitted with a light sensor, the dipped beam headlights light up automatically as light begins to
fade; stalk 1 does not need to be turned (position 0).
To deactivate or reactivate this function, move the end of stalk 1 twice consecutively from 0 to side light position, with the engine stopped and the ignition on.
A bleep confirms the deactivation of this function, and two bleeps confirm its reactivation.

If the timing belt has snapped then you will have caused major internal engine damage. Its not just a case of replacing the belt as its likely the pistons will have made contact with the valves and bent them in the process. You will need a qoute from a garage for the repair and potentially you are looking in excess of £1000. The only alternative to this is to source a suitable engine for exchange from a breakers.

Either your piston rings are shot or your head gasket is gone. If you are seeing antifreeze, than it is a bad head gasket or warped head.
Have you tested the compression with tester? Have you checked to make sure all spark plugs are firing? Fuel pressure? Is your check engine light on?

Change the coil pack..Common problem with the cleo.

Usually indicates exhaust leak, plugged catalytic converter, or faulty oxygen sensor.

on yr gearbox you will see a alinkey fixment should be at the front of gearbox

are you loseing oil
could be very low on oil
or bottom end going? be may its the sheild just come lose

My Clio has 15 inch rims and takes a 185/55 R15 tyre. I don't know if all the models are the same. If you are replacing the rims be careful your new rims have the same number of stud holes (mine is 4) and the same pitch circle diameter (PCD) (mine is 100 mm I think).

got a idear for you , if you pop down to you nearest breakers most vauxhall and vw hav a short aeril on the called a bee sting aerial the simply unscrew the same as how the wip part of yor one . they should be the same thread and they look cool when changed. hope this helps

you may have a cracked head did you take the head in and have it magnifluxed to check for cracks in the water jacket

if it has a crank sensor, take a serious look at that, top of gearbox two 10mm spanner size bolts holding it to the engine. very common on Renaults. put it on a diagnostic, check the RPM signal when cranking. if the ECU doent know the engine is turning it cant fire. 

The car is due for a Service. Contact a Renault Dealer or other garage.

If you book a service using another garage, remember to ask if they are able to switch off the service light, otherwise you will have to pay Renault a charge just to switch it off as well as service costs.
