2002s10 computor in a1998s10 no start
you need to use a scanner to clear the codes, go to pep boys or auto zone, they will do it for you usually free of charge but if after they are cleared by the scanner and still come up you may have a serious engine or tranny problem. good luck
Change computer in a 1997 deville now the theft system kicks in what should i do to reset it
The security, antitheft or lock picture/icon is a visual indication that something in the car's antitheft system is failing. In most GM cars and trucks there is a hidden system that most people are unaware even exists. From the moment you put your key in the ignition, there begins a constant line of communication between your key's security chip or transponder, to the ignition's lock cylinder, and then to the car's TDM (Theft Deterrent Module). These 3 parts are in CONSTANT communication. If the key is in the ignition, then these parts are sending signals to each other. The security light illuminates when that signal gets broken, even just for a second. When the signal breaks, the car misinterprets this as an attempt at theft and goes into antitheft mode. The car thinks its being stolen or hotwired because it is not getting that signal from YOUR specific key. This is why the security light turns on and shuts down your vehicle. This link explains it pretty well.

Service message-do not exceed 90 mph
You have to have a shop plug in a computer and read the on board diagnostic code in your cars computer. On those caddys it is usualy suspension needs replacing, or worn brakes. Most shops will do it for free. Or you could try unhooking your battery for 5 min to clear the code and hope it stays off.
Rt brake light
I would see if you can find an electrical diagram for the vehicle. Maybe online or for example my library has a ton of repair manuals. It may be that the ground connection is broken on that side, if that is an option. If you haven't switched out the bulbs from side to side I would do that as well. Sometimes bulbs can look ok but still have an internal fault.
P0440 code
You may need a repair shop. Code 440 means the computer has found a leak in the venting system for the gas tank. The problem could be the gas cap, a rubber hose, or a valve between the tank and the vapor canister.
