That has NEVER been an option on any cadillac since 1965 fo sure. If it was then it was some off the wall aftermarket item. If so then they need to fix it

I've seen this a lot and it appears to be a programming concern on most vehicles that require new updates for your ECM

however, some times it is a defective accessory delay relay and other times it is a shorted control wire for the delay relay

either case, depending on your electrical diagnostic experience and availability of professional scan tools, you may want to seek assistance from the dealer or a VERY GOOD garage with lots of electrical experience

You will have to get a ratchet stye of scewdriver and go in fromt he sides of the govebox to remove screws from either side. This will remove the glove box and you can open it form the inside. Most likely the locking mechanism tab is bent. You can straighten it with pliers and test it it unlocks with a key before installing glovebox in again.

REPLACE THERMOSTAT AND RADIATOR PRESSURE CAP.

northstar? is located on driverside wher the water pump is right infront of the radiator. it has 2 10mm bolts holding the thermostat in place. the engin coolant temp sensor is located on the driver side on the motor towards the fire wall

your screwed , the starter is under the intake manafold, if mine goes iam junking it , nothing causes it , it just happens,there eldos out there with well over 200 thousand miles on them with the original starter in them then theres eldos with 80 thousand on them that need a starter, its crazy, my 98 got a new radiator alternator speed sensor plugs and wires all this year ,380 dollars for all ,i saved a fortune doing it all my self, but if the starter goes iam done with it. good luck

The oil lamp indicates low oil.If you have checked the oil several times and it is fine,the sensor may be failing,or there is a loose connection in the system.When cars start aging,you should use a slightly thicker oil too.10W-40 is fine.I have a 1995 which suggests 5W-30 and I use 10W-40.Your issue is pretty unusual too.Call your mechanic and ask his opinion too.The 10W-30 switch is nothing urgent though.Just do it at your next oil change.Good luck!

These are two different events.

The coolant level sensor on the coolant reserve tank (passenger front) giving an condition of low radiator coolant fluid level condition to the climate control module.

Please check the coolant reserve tank level when the car is cold and while park on a level ground.

Coolant system need to be flush and fill every 2 years.
More frequent if you drive in the city frequently.

The dirty coolant is settle onto the bottom of the coolant reserve tank and it will cause false low coolant sign.

The climate sensed the coolant level is low and it haul the A/C function.

A/C require a lot of energy to ran.

The fix is to flush and fill the coolant system.

Pay close attention to the reserve tank level sensor and its connector.


Clean the contacts.

Fill the coolant with 50/50 mix.

If the error is still remain then I strongly recommend you to purchase a new coolant level sensor.

you have to drop the fuel tank its in the top of the tank.

the mechanism may be worn out or broken inside. Try a junk yard to get an exact replacement, as they are cheaper there than at the dealer.
try to get a guarantee on it of not dead on arrival.

mcdevito75 here, It may be the fuel pump it self as the fiuel pump has a sending unit built into it. Your Local shop should check it out. You could try to use your body a shake the back of the car, simply lean on one of the back fenders a rock the car from side to side to loosed the fuel pump sending unit.

I'm not an expert with the system in this car but I can tell you how to get a whole can of refrigerant in. If you let the car sit overnight so that it's relatively cold, the car's residual pressure will also be low. Now if you put the refill can in the sink for about five minutes with hot water running over it, the pressure will rise sufficiently in the can to overcome the lower pressure in the car. I have used this method many times and it is almost 100% effective. Almost every bit of refrigerant transfers out of the can. Refrigerant basically sits at the same pressure as temperature in Fahrenheit. If your car sits over night and is 60 degrees in the morning, then there will be 60 psi in the A/C system if there is any refrigerant left in it. When you put the can in hot water, you may raise it's pressure as high as 160 psi...depending on how high your hot water heater is set, but most are about that.

probably needs gas, when the pressure drops, and to some extent it allways does, the safety switch will prevent the compressor engaging.

yea man , the **** that put the ignition switch in did something ??? you now need a brake switch ,i would take it back who knows what he did . but the ignition switch goes from the horn blinker area to the bottom of the column where the brake switch is

open the hood , and youll see it on the inside ,just grab it and turn it counter clock wise and pull . the hole scocket will come out pull the bulb out and put a new one in , use a tissue or something your not supossed to touch them with your hands
