Turn the key with a full battery but there is no
1- make sure battery isnt dead. 2-change starter, most starters for an audi this old are probably refurbished, just make sure you get one that is refurbished in GERMANY. i cannot stress that enough. take your old one off first and take it to get tested at a local autoparts shop before breaking the bank. 3- if that doesnt work, check electrical connection from battery to your starter . make sure the power (red) line is going to the starter. 4- make sure starter is connected properly. the starter shoots a flange into your flywheel causing it to spin. the flange may not be ejecting properly.

Front drive shaft axle
Its possible one of the axle yokes is not completely inserted into the differential. You have to use a hammer to push the axle in beyond the small spring clip in most cases.

"oil" displayed on start up
most cars have a self diagnosis proceedure during and just after startup. this is not a fault unless it appears while going round corners or just generally driving around. you have had the sense to check your levels and pressures then i wouldnt worry too much about it unless it stays on or is as i say on while driving.

Accidentally put too much oil in car?
Just get underneath the car and take off the drain plug. Let half a quart out, put drain plug back on and check level on the dipstick. If it is right now, tighten the drain plug, or let more out if you need to. Have rags handy and a drain pan-oil will try to gush out-stop it after half a quart by putting the drain plug back in. "A bit over full" sounds like its just only not even a quart over filled.

My wipers are not moving
The one under the hood should be covered by a black plastic cover. This box contains your relays etc. on the inside of the cover it should tell you what fuse is what. Let me know if it helps or if you need further assistance.

1996 audi a4 wont start
What happens when you try to start it? Does the engine turn over or is it completely dead? If you don't hear the engine turn over I would check to see if your battery is charged. If it isn't it's likely alternator went out. Report back if it's turning over (meaning the battery and alternator is good)

1996 Audi A4 Quattro has a noisy rear differential
It's the wheel bearing. Guaranteed. Just replaced mine. Go to Audiworld tech articles for step by step instructions on how to test the wheel bearings. They must have been put in wrong last time or they just went out again.
