This can be a safety feature the manufacturer has implemented in this vehicle. Make sure the oil level is full. Is the vehicle ,making any tapping noises from the top end? ( valve train noise) If oil level is ok, you may have a defective oil pressure switch causing your symptoms. If the engine is abnormaly noisey it is possible there is no oil pressure and further diagnostics will be requred

Look for a bad brake light switch or connection to it first. Many cars have interlocks to this switch to make sure brake is engaged at certain times, like starting car. Would help if you wrote out complete English words and sentences to describe conditions in better detail.

your tranny is shot,like most chrysler vans,the tranny sucks,1200 to fix,junk it

double check the battery terminal or wire connector if loose,go to nearest autozone to check the load test on the alternator,your alternator might loosing it already.

There is a relay for the Head lights in power center near battery in the engine compartment. Swap out a working relay and see if it fixes it. Replace with a good relay .!. Good Luck!

If you can insert a pry-bar, such as a large flat screwdriver between the tensioner and the engine it may help. Pull or push on the handle of the screwdriver while you slowly turn the bolt. It might take a bit of pressure, but this sometimes allows the bolt to get a purchase on good threads allowing you to remove it.

Remove wiper arms/ Remove wiper assembly/ Alternator/ Power Block/Remove intake manifold/ get new gaskets for that/ valve covers are now easily accesible . Great time to change the spark plugs and wires now. PCV valve/ Air Filter/The gaskets for my 3.3 '99 caravan were the thick rubber, and cost $120, For Valve cover gaskets, Get "THE RIGHT STUFF" and you can make your own set, black silicon gasket maker. Reassemble

REMOVE FROM DASH, TAKE OUT CUP HOLDER/ PRY OFF SMALL COVER, BEHIND 2 SMALL SCREWS, THEN FRAME AROUND CLIMATE CONTROL, REMOVE UNIT REMOVE BIG PLUG, REPLACE AND REASSEMBLE

WHERE THE KEY GOES IN, GET A NEW STARTER

FRONT ONE IS BEHIND RADIO LOWER MIDDLE DASH LOOSEN LOWER DASH FROM PASSENGER SIDE GLOVEBOX TO UNDER STEERING COLUMN, ALL OUT. IT SLIDES OUT PAST THE GAS PEDAL, 2 HOSES

FUEL INJECTION HAS map SENSOR FOR WHEN RUNNING, AND ALSO IDLE SENSOR, MAKE SURE ALL VACUUM LINES ON TOP OF THROTTLE BODY ARE NOT LEAKING

new belt jumped a tooth or two or the timing marks weren't correct.
