AC/Heat only works in Defrost
You have mode motors under the dash that open the doors to control heat and air and where it comes from. Replace motor for door that doesn't work
Temp, fuel, speed, RPM, Mileage guages are not working, Check engine light, abslight and alarm set lights are on. What is the problem and solution?
I had the exact same problem. The next thing you'll experience is immediate engine stall/quit right after startup.Found the solution on another site: the fix is an easy do-it-yourself project: the solder used to connect the multi-function wiring plugs to the instrument panel has become brittle. (widely known to Chrysler and many repair shops. Their suggested fix is to replace the entire instrument cluster for 2-300 dollars (parts only; add several hours for labor). For an hour of your time and a small battery-powered soldering pencil, you can simply re-solder each of the pin connections to the circuit board. Use new flux-core solder; it will make a lasting repair. There's a You-Tube video out there showing the entire dash area disassembly and cluster removal. I did it twice; the first time, I only re-soldered one of the plug sockets. Disassembly took an hour- reassembly took 15 minutes. I should've re-soldered both. Second time, disassembly and reassembly each took 15 minutes. The actual soldering took about five minutes. While apart, you can replace any burned-out dashboard illumination lightbulbs, too.
Belt comes off
Could be a stretched belt, or the tensioner may not be keeping it tight. You should have plastic panels on the bottom of the van to keep water from hitting the belt.
