AC/Heat only works in Defrost

You have mode motors under the dash that open the doors to control heat and air and where it comes from. Replace motor for door that doesn't work

My oil light suddenly goes on & makes noise- the 1999 Town & Country stalls once in a while-what could be the problem?

Could be time for a new van.The oil light is warning the driver engine oil pressure has dropped below 10 psi, not necessarily that the engine is low on oil.Common causes for low oil pressure is a faulty oil pump or screen, or worn engine parts. The fact you are also adding coolant and you don't see any external leaks sounds like the engine is reaching the end of its life.

2000 town and country chrysler van wont start battery and starter good

It sounds like your immobilizer has kicked in and preventing you from starting. If you have a gray key and the security light is blinking, you will need to get it reprogrammed to restart this vehicle.Good luckDougwww.steeringcolumnservices.com

Temp, fuel, speed, RPM, Mileage guages are not working, Check engine light, abslight and alarm set lights are on. What is the problem and solution?

I had the exact same problem. The next thing you'll experience is immediate engine stall/quit right after startup.Found the solution on another site: the fix is an easy do-it-yourself project: the solder used to connect the multi-function wiring plugs to the instrument panel has become brittle. (widely known to Chrysler and many repair shops. Their suggested fix is to replace the entire instrument cluster for 2-300 dollars (parts only; add several hours for labor). For an hour of your time and a small battery-powered soldering pencil, you can simply re-solder each of the pin connections to the circuit board. Use new flux-core solder; it will make a lasting repair. There's a You-Tube video out there showing the entire dash area disassembly and cluster removal. I did it twice; the first time, I only re-soldered one of the plug sockets. Disassembly took an hour- reassembly took 15 minutes. I should've re-soldered both. Second time, disassembly and reassembly each took 15 minutes. The actual soldering took about five minutes. While apart, you can replace any burned-out dashboard illumination lightbulbs, too.

What do I use to take the B+ wire off alternator

its either a 10mm or 13mm nut that holds the cable to the alt. Usually a socket and ratchet work the best. I’m happy to assist further over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/jeremy_d728a59f986299fa

Belt comes off

Could be a stretched belt, or the tensioner may not be keeping it tight. You should have plastic panels on the bottom of the van to keep water from hitting the belt.

Engine will start, but all the dash warning lights come on, then the engine shuts off. if i tap under the dashboard on the passenger side before engine shuts off, most the time it will keep running.

Sounds like you have a loose connection in the instrument cluster in the dash. There were a lot of Town & Country owners having engine issues related to a faulty instrument cluster. The security system is connected through that somehow and if it loses power, like it sounds yours does, it would shut the car off even while driving. The fact that you can tap on the dashboard and keep it working leads me to believe it's the instrument cluster.
