Cab blower not working
Possible blown fuse, defective blower motor or blower resistor. TRy turning on the blower motor and slapping the underside of the passenger dash area with your hand to see if the motor will start working. If it does, the blower motor is getting bad. If it doesn't, You will have to check for power and ground to the motor and go from there
2015 subaru forester with cvt tranny as good as 2013 with a 4 speed automatic tranny? can the cvt go 200,000 miles
The problem with answering that question is that not enough CVT's have been on the road long enough to really do a good analysis of their longevity. I know that if taken care of, a conventional automatic transmission can go the distance. My mothers car was a 2004 Nissan CVT which has almost 200K and hasn't faltered one bit. You have to think about which one would be more expensive to repair/replace out of pocket. Which one is cheaper to service/maintain, I do know that CVT fluid is more expensive than conventional auto trans fluid. I personally like feeling the car shift, and the conventional would be my choice at that point based on aesthetics. I hope this info helps!
My subaru forester 2002 is suddenly not starting in cold weather.
Inspect solenoid connection on the starter. Look for corrosion and that its not loose or broken. Also inspect the wiring connector fo the same issues mentioned above. Then try starting it again. I recently had an issue with a 2005 Impreza which had a poor connection causing it not to start.
I started my forester but when I was about to take off it went dead, now radio, lights and sometimes the A/C comes on but it won't start. Only a click and that's it
You have either a bad electrical connection or a bad battery [maybe both].
1. Start with the battery connections and make sure everything is clean and tight including the places where the wires are crimped near the battery. Acid from the battery plays havoc with electrical connections.
2. Also look at where the larger battery wires are connected to the starter and to the engine block [ground wire].
3. If all of the connections are tight try the starter with the lights on. If the headlights go out when you try to engage the starter, the battery is probably a goner. If the lights go very dim but still stay on, it may be a bad starter [not likely, but possible]
If you have an electrical meter, have someone check the voltage at the battery terminals while you try to engage the starter, if the voltage falls below 10 volts suspect the battery.
4. if you suspect the battery, try jumping the car. If it starts with a jump, buy a battery. I've always had good luck with Walmart batteries; look at the date codes and get a really fresh one. Since they have a high turnover of batteries, this should be easy.

My air bag stays on 2011 suburu forrester what can i do
If the light is staying on there must be an electrical fault. You will need to get it scanned to find out what that fault is. I would recommend a Subaru dealer as this should be covered under warranty as the car is not very old
Code1100 1101
This can be caused by the cycle that the test connector initiates. The test connector is located under the dash, to the right of the steering wheel, and is a connector with a single wire. It should normally be disconnected.if this was helpful please leave good feed back
Can't close hood on 2007 Subaru forester
Try pulling the latch lever again. Sometimes, when the hood alignment isn't quite right, the latch will lock before the hood end gets in the right place. Otherwise your hood latch is misaligned or your cable is rusted and has the latch stuck open.
How to remove fuel pump SUBARU FORESTER 1997
Hi,
THe fuel pump is located under the back seat.
Pop off the bottom seat to reveal the carpet (if any) and you will find a cover with 4 screws.
Underneath that, you will find the fuel tank secured by several small nuts.
If this is a DIY, be careful not to damage the floater on removal or return.
Hope that helps.
Recommended tyre pressures
If that is the right size tire for your car, the tire pressures are on a sticker on the edge of the drivers door or on the drivers door post where the door covers when it's closed or on a sticker on the bottom of the inside of the glovebox. ALL cars have the tire pressures on a sticker in one of those 3 places.
We have new brake pads and new rotors, now abs light is on, Why
Interesting question. The ABS magnetic sensors on each wheel can get gummed up with dirt, rust and brake dust. Perhaps the brake shop did not clean the sensor properly, or worse, may have damaged one or more when the rotors are replaced. The sensor also has a tough wire up to the chassis. If this is damaged or disconnected, the ABS light will turn on.
Take it back to the shop and have them check.
