1986 Isuzu P'up isn't getting fuel to the carb.

we had 4 engines then,. sold new. 2 gas, 2 diesel.
Gas.

https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/isuzu,1986,pickup
must be 1.9L or 2.3L gas. not diesel right>?
yes both are still carb fuel then,.
some have 2 pumps, one in tank and 1 on side of engine off cam.
mechanical it. or 1 or the other.
some show and inline metal filter there.
my guess you have the mech pump off cam.
so that sure does have built end regulator.
2.5 to 4.5 pounds of pressure
3 pipes are IN, out to carb and return to tank
In to carb is the reg side.
the excess fuel via regulator goes to the fuel tank ruturn line
just like EFI injected engines do for decades.
modern cars the reg is in the tank at pump end. no return line.
How to remove AC pump & power steering pump on 1999 Isuzu Trooper 3.5l
Removing the AC pump and power steering pump from a 1999 Isuzu Trooper 3.5L can be a complex and time-consuming process. It is recommended that this procedure be performed by a qualified mechanic. However, if you would like to attempt it yourself, the following are general steps to follow:
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Remove the serpentine belt by using a breaker bar or ratchet on the tensioner pulley to relieve the tension on the belt. Then, slide the belt off the pulleys.
- Remove the bolts that secure the AC pump and power steering pump to the engine block. The AC pump and power steering pump share some bolts, so be sure to keep track of which bolts belong to which pump.
- Disconnect the electrical connectors and hoses from the AC pump and power steering pump. The electrical connectors may require you to depress a tab or pull up on a locking tab before disconnecting.
- Remove the bolts that secure the AC pump and power steering pump to their respective mounting brackets.
- Carefully lift the AC pump and power steering pump out of the engine compartment.
- If you plan to reinstall the AC pump and power steering pump, transfer any necessary components or brackets from the old pumps to the new pumps.
- Install the new pumps in reverse order, using the bolts and connectors you removed from the old pumps.
- Reinstall the serpentine belt, making sure it is properly routed around all the pulleys.
- Reconnect the negative battery cable.
- Start the engine and check for proper operation of the AC and power steering systems.
ISUZU RADEO 2001 3.2 V6 P1340
Error code P1340 on a 2001 Isuzu Rodeo with a 3.2 V6 engine refers to "Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction." This means that there is a problem with the circuit that reads the position of the camshaft, which can cause issues with engine timing and performance. It is recommended to have a certified mechanic diagnose and repair the issue to ensure proper functionality of the engine.

2004 Isuzu KB250 cutting out
Your definitely loosing prime somewhere. And since you are not saying anything about a leak, it would have to be internal. Do you have any excess black smoke? This would indicate over fueling and could mean an injector is not closing off. It could be internal in the high pressure pump if you have high mileage. Or the most likely place would be the pickup inside of the tank, since you say it only happens below half a tank. I would pull the sending unit and pressurize it with a bit of compressed air and see if it does have a leak.
Isuzu kb 240 le power and idle problem
It sounds like there are multiple issues with your Isuzu KB 240 LE. A powerless engine and stalling can be caused by a number of issues, including:
- Fuel Delivery: If the fuel pump is not delivering enough fuel to the engine, it can cause a loss of power and stalling.
- Ignition System: If the spark plugs or ignition coils are not functioning properly, it can cause a loss of power and stalling.
- Mass Air Flow Sensor: A faulty mass air flow sensor can cause the engine to run lean, resulting in a loss of power and stalling.
- Vacuum Leaks: A vacuum leak can cause a loss of power and stalling.
- Throttle Body: A dirty or clogged throttle body can cause a loss of power and stalling.
- Engine Control Module: A malfunctioning engine control module can cause the engine to lose power and stall.
- Fuel Injection System: A clogged fuel injector or a failing fuel pressure regulator can cause the engine to lose power and stall.
It's recommended to have the vehicle professionally diagnosed to determine the root cause of the problem. The diagnostic process may involve checking the fuel and ignition systems, performing a vacuum leak test, checking the throttle body, and possibly scanning the engine control module for codes. Once the issue is identified, the necessary repairs can be made to restore proper engine performance.
1996 Isuzu Rodeo dash lights/parking lights not working.
It's possible that the issue is with the multifunction switch, as you mentioned. However, before replacing it, you can try checking the fuses and connections related to the parking lights and dash lights. It's also possible that there is a short in the wiring somewhere, so a thorough inspection of the wiring may be necessary.
If you are comfortable with electrical work, you can try tracing the wiring and testing the connections with a multimeter to identify where the problem may be. If not, it's best to take the vehicle to a professional mechanic who can diagnose and repair the issue.
