Need to locate reset button to turn off alarm
There is not a reset button on a Nissan product. If the security light is on solid when spinning the engine over then the security system is in "LOCK MODE" no matter if you use the correct key. If the alarm does not recognize the transponder (key) and it is tried then you will have to register all the keys to that vehicle. You will need to use the Nissan diagnostic tool Consult II or Consult III. You will need the 5 digits off of the BCM and the Nissan ASIST electronic service manual with the decoder feature. That will give the 4 digit code needed for the Consult II or Consult III to allow you to register the keys.
Or you could take it to a Nissan dealer.
Car will idle but there is no response when

You might have a bad accelator pedal sensor or it could have a loose wire. Take a look under the dash at the pedal and see if you can locate the sensor and verify it is still connected.
Engine light on
Its possible that they may have not reconnect something, that may have trigger the engine light. Start at Bringing the car to autozone or advance auto to have the computer scan (its free) for the trouble code. It may be a loose or disconnected sensor, or possible faulty sensor. Hopefully this helps
