Remove the front seat can give you access to remove the panel. But if it has screws around the outer perimeter, most likely will have to tear it out. Best to find a replacement first. Look at the drivers door, if it has screws, so does the passenger side. There are screws around the arm rest and door handle to remove, then it pops off. Again the seat has to be out of the way.

It could be the window sweep set is allowing water in or the door seal around the inside of the door jam and another over look problem is that the heating core is leaking coolant in to the vehicles cabin but the leak would be close to the dash if this is the case

There is no fuel cut off switch. The electric fuel pump only operates for a few seconds when the ignition is switched on and will only remain on when the engine has been started. If the engine is not started and the ignition is left on the computer will cut power to the pump. If you want to cut all power to the fuel pump you have to remove the fuse for the pump or remove the relay that covers the power circuit to the fuel pump.

Hook up a sprinkler heat to a stand (to simulate rain) and turn it on then go inside the car and watch for leaks.

If it's an automatic, your transmission needs rebuilt. If it's a manual, Clutch and Pressure Plate replacement.

Check your throttle cable from pedal to engine,may have came loose or something has broke.Make sure floor mats isn't catching at pedal,I am a 350 fan.love to have one.Have a 85 Nissan 720 4x4 with Weber.

Probably the switch I have seen many stop working and maybe one mirror stop out of hundreds

Dump the oil and refill. Take it to a JiffyLube or other oil change depot. Could be that it will not continue. I would take it to Nissan service if it were my car.

You may have a faulty injector that fails to shut off and is constantly supplying fuel. During operation it may not be noticeable, but when you shut the car off, the injector will pour fuel into the empty cylinder until fuel pressure falls off. This fuel will leak down along the piston rings into the oil, contaminating it. This will eventually cause cylinder wall damage due to "washing", the fuel is removing the protective oil film on the cylinder wall. This will cause much more wear on each start-up. Have the injectors tested.

if that pump is locked up.. goto a salvage yard and get another one.. make sure it turns also..

Check your fuses to make sure they are OK. Your turn signal is on a different circuit than the tail lights. I think.
