2001 FORD FOCUS LOAD TICKING NOISE
it very well can be that depending on the severity of the ticking noise, if it sounds like its coming from the top of the engine, place your hand on it only when you first start it up and if you can feel it knocking slightly and if the noise dies away once warmed up id say its your lifter, if its a heavier knocking rather than a ticking and comes from below or bottom end of engine it may be big end bearing, not good. try putting some engine treatment through the engine oil and make sure you run it in as directions state then change the oil and filter and see if that helps :)
How long will a vehicle speed sensor keep acting up before it completely gives up?
the speed sensor is located on the side of transmission toward the rear of the trans, is simple too replace, if you buy then new one and jack and support the vehicle look under Neath and it simple unplugs then use a crescent wrench take tork off and unscrew it. there will be little trans fluid (1tea spoon ) that will come out and that's normal on a scale of one to ten it rates 2. so not hard.
How do I fix my 2004Ford Focus going into limp mode doesnt do it all the time bad after stop and pulling out into traffic . engine light doesn't came on (?)
TEDDY is right on Point. First if this is happening, YOU should not be driving it. YOU are a danger to yourself and those around you and I am sure you do not want to cause an accident or be in an accident.... with that said... I am 95% sure your issue is Transmission Related although Teddy is correct with the other issues that could cause it.
Limp Mode is designed to "GET YOU OFF THE ROAD SAFELY" (you know... Limp Home).... Now that you are home, you need to discover the issue and the vast majority of the time with the Focus is the Transmission Codes. Many of these "MAY" set a CEL but not always, once you start to Scan the vehicle with a Diagnostic Scanner, the issue may be plain to see. Majority of time it has to do with the TCC Solenoid (Torque Converter Clutch)... It could also be something as simple as a Clogged Fuel Filter, MAF Sensor, Clogged Converter are some issues that can cause it.
Scan the Car and you will get some more information.. Something like a P0191....

- Remove the rear quarter window glass.
- Using a soft brush or vacuum, remove any dirt or foreign material from the pinch weld.
Installation
CAUTION: When installing urethane installed glass parts, the vehicle must not be driven until the urethane adhesive has cured. At temperatures above 21°C (70°F) and relative humidities above 50%, adequate cure time is typically 24 hours. (Refer to Essex drive away chart for the cure times as temperatures and humidity vary.) Inadequate or incorrect curing can adversely affect the retention of the quarter window glass.
-
NOTE: Avoid scratching the pinch weld.
Trim the remaining urethane adhesive. The urethane adhesive must be smooth and free of cuts and contamination after trimming. Avoid touching the urethane adhesive after preparation.
- Apply the urethane metal primer to any exposed or damaged metal on the pinch weld.
- If reinstalling the original rear quarter window glass, remove the excess urethane adhesive.
- Clean the rear quarter window glass with a non-alcohol based window cleaner.
-
CAUTION: Wipe off the urethane glass prep immediately after each application because it flash dries.
If installing a new rear quarter window glass, apply urethane glass prep twice around the glass surface to be urethaned.
- If installing a new rear quarter window glass, apply urethane glass primer to the same area that was prepped in the previous step. Allow 5 minutes to dry.

Focus2004 zx3 starts up, but dies when gas pedal is pressed (manual Tran)
There are to many variables to give a definite answer here. You will need to hook up a computer scanner to the car, to check for fault codes and to watch the PIDs [live data sent to the engine computer from the various sensors.] That said, the most likely culprits are either a bad TPS [throttle position sensor] or a failing fuel pump.
