For the misfire I would check to see if any of the plug wires got pulled loose at the plug and at the distributor. As to the file miles per quart guzzle of p/s fluid look for a cracked line or bad seal in the steering box.

If the chime includes the cab light staying on as well: There is a door switch in both the driver and passenger side doors that needs attention. I too had this problem. Solution: squirt wd40 onto the switch located near the door latch on both driver and passenger side.
