HOW do I remove the arm rest on a ford bronco 1984, no zipper to access

You gotta PEEL back the material right there at the "Hinge" point. It isn't easy but when you get it peeled back you can get to the mounting bolt that holds the arm in place.

How do I remove an armrest on a 1984 Ford Bronco?

Pull the armrest vertically up. There is a slot in the armrest and a pin on the frame. You have to match these to pull the armrest off. Without a zipper it's a little more challenging. Some armrest have a little screw that keeps the armrest on the frame. The older models usually worked with the slot and pin.

How to drain gas tank on 1984 ford ltd crown victoria to remove the old gas?

If the old gas is bad you should remove the tank, dump the gas, and clean the inside of the tank. You may have to siphon the gas to get to the point where you can manage the tank to remove it.

Stalls when put into gear

many things can cause this. the most common problem would be that the timing is slightly off. (fixed sometimes by adjusting the distributor) it could also be a bad fuel pump (or clogged fuel filter) this would allow enough fuel to run the engine in park but not enough to run the engine under stress. clogged air filter could also cause this (not allowing enough air into the cylinders). I would change the air filter and fuel filter. then crank the vehicle and slowly turn the distributor (finding the best idle position) then see what happens. lastly replace the fuel pump.

Choke adjust

Does it not idle even after the engine warms up ?That sounds like a vac leak, or not enough gas coming thru the idle circuit of the carb.

My 84 Bronco seems to go into neutral when I slow down or come to a stop.

Hi there,This is a classic condition of a 'slipping' transmission.The problem could be anything from bad fluid, poor fluid pressure, faulty pressure valves, faulty solenoids, loose bands or even internal mechanical failure.First step would be to flush your transmission and refill with new fluid and replace the transmission's internal oil filter.If problem persists, then a transmission overhaul or 2nd hand replacement could be in order.

You have a external fuel pump even if you have 2 fuel tank you are equipt with one pump. Its location is underneath the driver side along the framecansmo_183.gif

84 ford bronco 351 runs good till warm then wont

It sound like you have a bad starter. When it is hot, it is drawing more amps than the battery can supply. You may also need to test the positive cable to the starter from the battery. To do this, you need a multimeter. Check the voltage between the positive and negative cable at the battery and note your readings. Then measure the voltage at the starter between where the cable connects and the case of the starter. Compare the two reading. If you have more than .5 volts difference, then the positive cable has too much resistance and needs replacing. Check for corrosion and make sure the cable is tight as well. I am betting on a starter though.
