sounds like a secondary air injection pump.

someone who is qualified and trained needs to look at the fuel injection system. you are either building fuel up as it sits idle all night or the cold fuel enrichment needs an adjustment. both would cause the smell of unburned gas after an overnight sit.

Something locked up. Two possible things. 1 The engine. 2 the a/c compressor. To check remove the drive belt and see if you can move the crank then. this will tell you.

to perform a tune -up on this type of vehicle you would have to change plugs wires fuel filter and air filter. that is all you can do for a tune up on this type of vehicle

Hi, do you hear the air pump run when you start the car? No? Check the A.I.R. pump fuse in the under hood fusebox. if it is blown then you probably need a new air pump motor. If the fuse is not blown then the relay could be the culprit. if you can hear the pump running when you start it the engine then you probably just have some wiring issues from the relay to the ecm it can still work ok but fail the resistance test that the computer runs randomly..
The best you can do is to replace the air pump......

You have a chip on your key,Your ignition has wire that goes bad,You have to get a new ignition and key that has a new chip.

Well, I would charge the battery with a plug in battery charger for about 3 days to make sure it is fully charged.

If the battery doesn't take a charge, then I would replace the battery.

Make sure the connections are shiny, clean and tight at the contact points.

After the battery is charged, then I would have it tested for starting/charging at your local parts store or Sears or Walmart or other battery retailer.

Remember, batteries only last 3 years on average, so if charging it doesn't solve the starting problem, then I would consider buying a new battery for the vehicle.

Now's a good time to have the engine's codes to be read by an OBD-II Scanner. You can buy your own scanner for under $100 from Walmart or Sears that will tell you in English what system is failing on your vehicle.

Or, you could have Autozone or Advance Auto Parts scan it for free to determine which codes exist, and sometimes their meaning.

It could be as simple as a tune up or as complicated as the hundreds if not thousands of codes that exist on engines these days.
