Battery not charging and alternator works fine
2 things. First check that the alternator is operating at 14.7 volts. Then check with everything turned on to see if it drops. Might not be big enough for everything running. Second measure between battery positive terminal and alternator output to see if different. Might have bad connection or wire in the system.

Removal & Installation
-
Disconnect the negative battery cable.
-
Remove the instrument panel compartment.
-
Unfasten the forward-most screw in the right side door sill plate. Remove the trim panel from the right hinge pillar.
-
If necessary for access, unplug the ECM wiring and remove the ECM.
-
Unplug the electrical lead at the blower motor and if equipped, remove the under dash courtesy lamp.
-
Remove the bolt from the right side lower instrument panel support. Remove the blower cover and the cooling tube.
-
Unfasten the flange screws and pull out the blower motor. You may
have to pry back the right side of the instrument panel slightly. Be
careful!
To install:
-
Position the blower motor and install the mounting screws. Be careful not to catch the blower on anything when sliding it in.
-
Install the cooling tube and the blower shield.
-
Install the bolt into the instrument panel support.
-
Attach the courtesy lamp and the blower electrical lead.
-
If removed, install the ECM. Attach the wiring harness.
-
Install the trim panel on the pillar. Don't forget the screw in the sill plate!
-
Install the instrument panel compartment and connect the battery cable.
-
Disconnect the negative battery cable.
-
Remove the instrument panel (IP) storage compartment.
-
Remove the front screw from the right door sill plate.
-
Remove the right hinge pillar trim plate.
-
Disconnect the electrical connectors from the blower motor, as necessary.
-
Remove the bolt from the right lower IP support.
-
Remove the blower motor cover.
-
Remove the motor cooling tube.
-
Remove the blower motor flange screws and ferrules.
-
Perform the following steps in order to remove the blower motor:
Carefully pull the blower motor forward in order to avoid distorting the blower motor fan.
If necessary, pry back the right side of the IP.
-
Inspect the blower motor terminals for distortion.
-
Clean corrosion from the terminals as necessary.
-
Replace the blower motor as necessary.
-
Inspect the flange of the blower motor for damage or distortion that may cause an air leak.
-
Repair the flange as necessary.
-
Inspect the blower fan for any damage and distortion.
To install:
-
Guide the blower motor and blower fan into position. Be careful in
order not to catch the blower fan on any protruding components.
-
Install the blower motor flange ferrules and screws. Tighten the blower motor mounting screws to 20 inch lbs. (2.1 Nm).
-
Install the blower motor cooling tube.
-
Install the blower motor cover.
-
Install the bolt to the right lower IP support.
-
Install the electrical connectors to the blower motor, as necessary.
-
Install the right hinge pillar trim panel.
-
Install the front screw into the door sill plate.
-
Install the instrument panel storage compartment.
-
Install the negative battery cable.
-
Verify the circuit operation.
with Delphi Blower Motor
-
If equipped, remove the sound insulator panel.
-
Remove the blower motor insulating cover screws.
-
Disconnect the electrical connector from the blower motor.
-
Remove the blower motor insulating cover.
-
Pull the retaining tab down while turning the blower motor
counterclockwise in order to disengage the blower motor from the
heater/ventilation module.
-
Remove the blower motor.

To install:
-
Install the blower motor.
-
Install the blower motor to the heater/ventilation module. Turn
the blower assembly clockwise until the retaining tab locks into place.

Install the blower motor insulating cover.
-
Connect the electrical connector to the blower motor.
-
Install the blower motor insulating cover screws.
-
Tighten the screws to 14 inch lbs. (1.6 Nm).
-
If equipped, install the sound insulator panel.
with Visteon Blower Motor
-
Remove the sound insulator panel.
-
Disconnect the electrical connector (2) from the blower motor (1).
-
Remove the screws from the blower motor (1).
-
Remove the blower motor (1) from the HVAC module (3).
-
Remove the retainer from the blower motor wheel. Discard the retainer.
-
Remove the blower motor wheel from the blower motor (1).

To install:
-
Install the blower motor wheel to the blower motor (1).
-
Install the New retainer to the blower motor wheel.
-
Install the blower motor (1) to the HVAC module (3).
-
Install the screws to the blower motor (1).
-
Tighten the screws to 18 inch lbs. (2 Nm).
-
Connect the electrical connector (2) to the blower motor (1).
-
Install the sound insulator panel.

Hello,
The rear turn signals are wired through the Multifunction switch also called the turn signal switch. The Hazard switch is in that switch also and thats the circuitry the brake lights go through. You need to confirm voltage at the White wire off of the brake light switch and if its ok you have a bad multifunction switch.

Are there 2 batteries in a 6.6L duramax diesel
Yes, There is 2 batteries. the high compression engine will not turn over fast enough with just one battery. not enough cranking amps. the 2 batteries are wired parraell of each other. thus producing the same voltage but the full cranking amps needed.
