1999 gmc sierra no heat in defrost but heater and A/C work

Is this a new body-style 99? The electric motors that control the doors inside your heater unit are prone to failure. Your best bet is to have a qualified technician take a look at it. A good scanner will show which motor is bad.

My 2003 gmc Sierra driver side door panel quit working, locks quit, seat heater quit, windows quit, passenger side works fine

The most likely culprit is your driver's door control module... it's built into the driver's window switches. Double-check all your fuses before replacing any parts.

My gmc searra has all power when i turn on the ignition but does not crank to turn on

If the battery is fully charged, and you have lights but no crank, the problem could be the anti-theft system, or the neutral safety switch, or the starter among other things. You would need to check for power on the small wire on the starter solenoid when the key switch is in the start position.

Battery not charging and alternator works fine

2 things. First check that the alternator is operating at 14.7 volts. Then check with everything turned on to see if it drops. Might not be big enough for everything running. Second measure between battery positive terminal and alternator output to see if different. Might have bad connection or wire in the system.

Hello,
The rear turn signals are wired through the Multifunction switch also called the turn signal switch. The Hazard switch is in that switch also and thats the circuitry the brake lights go through. You need to confirm voltage at the White wire off of the brake light switch and if its ok you have a bad multifunction switch.

I hope this helps.

Are there 2 batteries in a 6.6L duramax diesel

Yes, There is 2 batteries. the high compression engine will not turn over fast enough with just one battery. not enough cranking amps. the 2 batteries are wired parraell of each other. thus producing the same voltage but the full cranking amps needed.
