oil pressure gauge reads 80 psi with engine off and pegs running
That is probably a defective oil pressure gauge or a broken oil pressure sender, it reads 80 psi just because that is the maximum value allowed.
Pressure can be verified by reading it with a gauge tool.
If you really have pressure over 70 psi when engine is running then start replacing the oil filter, and check that the oil lines from pump are not obstructed, if there is nothing in there then replace oil pump.
If instead the gauge reads 80 with engine off, that is a defective pressure gauge.

conductor 1 error displays on odometer during startup and odometer info is displayed in a foreign language (French ?)
press the select button
press the personalation button and scroll to english
If nothing happens you may have a defective instrument cluster. A diagnosis will be needed to determine the exact cause.
modulemaster.com can rebuild them but your truck could be out of commision for a couple weeks.. A dealer replacement will cost alot more

Which is positive wire on door speaker Lt. green or dark green?
Open up the other door speaker to check. I would guess it would be the darker green. It wont harm anything to try either one. It is low voltage. If one doesn't work, switch the wires.

I have changed the batteries in my 2003 GMC Sierra key fob and they do not work. Do I need to reset somethin?
1. Close all doors
2. Insert key into ignition
3. Hold down the power UNLOCK button on the driver's door panel, continue to hold down
until instructed to release in step 9.
4. Perform steps 5 through 8 in a fairly rapid succession.
5. Turn the ignition to the ON position (as far as you can go without starting the engine.)
6. Turn the ignition to the OFF position.
7. Turn the ignition to the ON position (as far as you can go without starting the engine.)
8. Turn the ignition to the OFF position.
9. Release the power UNLOCK button on the door panel. The vehicle should respond by
door locks locking and unlocking automatically. (If locks do not cycle after you let go,
not before you let go of the unlock button, then the vehicle has not entered programming
mode and you must start procedure over. Remove key from ignition, open drivers door
and return to step 1 ). If the locks do cycle automatically then proceed to step 10.
10. Hold down the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons on the remote until the doors lock and
unlock. This may take up to 30 seconds.
11. Repeat step 10 NOW for each additional remote. (Including any existing remotes).
12. Turn the ignition to the ON position to exit the programming mode.
13. Test remote(s).

Happens occasionally. When you open the door with the keys in the ignition the chime/alarm doesn't come on. At the same time you will notice the radio display works, but no sound. Volume/channel/mode etc all display but no sound. No reason, but it usually comes back on in a day or two?
door chime is activatid by switch on door raido should only come on when key is in on or acc setting if key is not in all the way door chime should not come on at all

air bag light on
looking for front airbag sensor and test procedure
The front crash sensor is on or near the radiator support under the hood, it is a little square box, one question why do you think it has a problem? it is a mechanical device, a steel ball bearing sitting in an inverted cone, when you crash the ball bearing breaks free of the magnet, that breaks a connection and signals the airbag monitor to fire the airbags, it takes a 5+ MPH impact to set all this in motion, there are side impact sensors as well, the physics of these are a little different, they are measured in G force of the impact, hope all this doesn't bore, one note the fuel that fires the air bag is made by the same folks that make rocket fuel for the solid fuel boosters of the space shuttle.

spare tire removal 2003 gmc sierra how to release secondary latch? owners manual is no help. cable comes down spare comes down about 3 inchs thats all
You must unwind (counter clockwise) with the tire tools that come with the truck, sometimes the cable gets jammed on the spool it may take 2 people to get it loose, one must pull down on the spare while the other unwinds it. Try not to get under the tire as it is heavy.
