1996 gmc 1500 truck 4.3 L does not want to start
The ECT should be located near the thermostat housing, screwed into the intake manifold. There may be a couple of sensors in the general location so compare the plug in portion to confirm which one it is.
Before you change the sensor, I would use a scan tool to see what information the ECT is actually relaying to the computer. I know I've seen ECTs tell the 'puter the engine was opposite of the symptoms you're describing. In other words the ECT was 'saying' it was -40°. Yea you read that right, 40° BELOW ZERO! Needless to say the engine would run super rich with that info.
So I would say it's POSSIBLE the ECT could be 'saying' the engine is warmer than it actually is which would result in poor cold starts.
It may also be the Manifold Air Temperature Sensor (MAT).
The 'puter isn't smart and is only going to adjust the perimeters for air/fuel, timing, etc. on the info it receives.
I don't want to simply say "go buy an ECT and/or MAT and put it in" because I'm not a believer in loading up the 'parts cannon' and firing away at a problem. Diagnose then replace.
Hope this helps.

Engine misfiring.
most all v8's have the same firing order which is 1,8,4,3,6,5,7,2. sparkplug gap seems fine. with the engine off, bend the sparkplug wires between your fingers, if small cracks appear then replace them. number one sparkplug is located at the front driver side of the engine, front to back on this side are cylinders 2,4,6, and 8 respectively. turn the engine to the compression stroke on number one, pull the cap, the rotor points where number one will be.

Why would I see coolant leaking from a motor mount bolt
Probably the coolant is leaking from somewhere higher on the engine than the motor mount, and it is running to the lowest point before dripping off. It could be a leak from the head gasket area, or possibly from the front of the engine and the cooling fan is blowing it back. Another possibility is that one of the core plugs (or freeze plugs) is leaking and must be replaced. The worst possibility is that the engine block is cracked.
With the engine off, get under the vehicle with a strong light and check the area above the motor mount closely. If the coolant has been leaking for a while, you should see a nice clean path where it has been running down, possibly with whitish lines along the edge. Trace it back to where it comes from, and you will know what has to be repaired to stop it.

How do I remove condensation from the headlights of a 1996 GMC Suburban 1500?
The reflectors and the housing usually have a small port or tube device to allow air to enter the housing to stop condensation. If there is a tiny tube or port that could be clogged, or the gasket to the lens is worn and leaking or cracked. You will have to dry out the condensation first before you reseal the headlight lens and housing. This means you will have to take it apart.
