ac expansion valve (TX ) valve is located on the inlet side of the evaporator under the dash it is what controls the rate at which liquid is allowed to escape to turn to gas and so cause the cooling process. they are known to block at the orifice as it is very small or the thermostat will not control the liquid flow to the tx valve

You throw people off with the heater core statement. It is the coolant reservoir.

Most likely is the power motor in the door. If all the other windows work you will need to take the inner door panel off and test for power at the switch and to to motor. If you have power to the motor change the motor. Some time the wire at the front of the door between the door and the body will break (this is because this wire flexes every time you open and close the door). I hope this helps.

The external temperature sensor is usually located directly behind the grille and in front of the radiator. It should be relatively easy to find because it will be the only thing in that area with wires.

the light with the arrow might be a low coolant level check the over flow bottle and the rad coolant level. the other light is for when the PCM detects a problem and sets a code and turns on the light. check for a code in the PCM, it could have come on when the other light came on.

run the fault codes again to check for solenoid servo / TCM problem.

Internal transmission problem. Clutch band broke. Most transmission problems will give you some sort of warning. But there are parts in it that can break with no warning. Clutch bands are one of them.

Use an unlit propane torch, turn the gas on and probe around with the engine running. If engine rpm's change at all that's where your leak is.

Special restrictions like "California only" or "with sport package" may indicate a Body Control Module (BCM) fits only certain 2002 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER models. the bcm has to be programmed by a dealer,go to your dealer to make sure that is the problem,it could also be the ignition switch,it usually mimics a bad bcm,a switch is cheaper.

Why would you want to do that? Do U know that that is your problem? What about the shifter motor on the transfer case (encoder Motor) or the control modum? If it is the switch, U can buy & replace it W/O any problems because that is the easiest of the 3 to replace. NO, U can't shift it W/O the switch, I know, just went thru that..... GOD BLESS.....

sound like the 3 rd gear clutch pack is bad that is if it is a automatic, if it is a stick shift then 3 rd gear is blown

Hi Ron, If you'll go to justanswer.com, you can find step by step instructions on how to change that cable. Unfortunately, the very first thing they say about the job, is that it's a pain! The instructions I found for you, are for a 2002 Silverado, but I'm pretty sure it will cover your truck as well. Good luck! I hope I was of at least some help to you. Bill
