normally this occurs when you have a loose negative return path on the tail lights check the negative, normally in the trunk, it should not be rusted or loose and fixed securely to the body

Sounds like the gasket has gone (perished), the pump will have to be removed from the block, clean away the old gasket , make sure both surfaces are clean and fit a new gasket, use sealing paste as well and refit the pump.

If it's the 3.1 or the newer 3100 the starter should just be a couple 13 and 15mm bolts. Plus the nut for the cable. Hope this helps.

sounds like the wiper switch is bad, take it apart and first check the wires, make sure they.are all plugged in, no bare ones, good ground,

you need to hook up a dvom meter to the battery to check and see if your alternator is putting out 13.5 to 14.6 volts hook the meter to the alternator first get your reading then hook it up to the battery should have pretty much the same reading if not your battery cables have to much resistance corroded . or you can take the alternator off and have your local auto parts store test it for free same goes for your battery. Your battery could be bad even know you it says 12.6 volts they need to do a load test on it to see if it holds up under all your accessories then if your battery and alternator checks out fine and cables check out fine then I say you diffidently have a pacitic drain problem .

Check for corroded Fusible LinksYou can buy them or just cut themout if bad & use a wire nut, until you find ones you can solder inIf they are plug in like a fuse or relay, your in good shapeI'm assuming the battery & cables are good.Start at the battery & physically walk down the wiring& do some voltage drops as you go

Have the battery charged and tested and then test the charging system. You should never run a car with a very dead battery. that will burn out the alternator.

Only get a vacuum leak, if the booster check valvefailed & may effect the idle,not sure if it would be enoughto stall out the motorWhat is the emergency switch? Parking Brake warning light?That wouldn't have any effect on the engine idle

Is it possible the engine block is shifting in reverse and something in the wiring harness or a vac hose is being affected ?

Have you checked the brake light switch on the brake pedal to see if it is damaged ?

Is the check engine light on, and have you checked base fuel pressure with a gauge?
