I HAVE FUEL ,COMPRESSION BUT

could be they will test yours at autozone free of charge, also if the oil sending unit goes out it stops making spark, and again if the crank sensor is out. The oil sending unit is the cheaper of the two generally and easy to change just need a special socket they might let you use at autozone.

It sounds like you either need new starter brushes or a new starter. If you turn the key and the starter just clicks, try tapping gently on the starter with a metal bar. If the starter then turns over you should take it out and replace the brushes or put in a new or rebuilt starter. When you have to start tapping on the starter you may only have a few starts left.

1995 galant died the other

You need three things to run: spark, fuel, compression (timing). Check for spark simple, check for fuel (crank over engine and pull spark plugs, is fuel on them? ) if not rent noid lights from Autozone or such to check upon injector pulse. If nothing let me know and we'll look further in to it.

1995 was squealing, then started to over heat.

Of course any belts that are missing should be replaced. If the engine overheated you probably do need to replace the thermostat as the temper has been changed.

What cause engine overheating

Several problems can cause it. A thermostat that is stuck closed (will not allow coolant to circulate- remove and place in a pan of boiling water, it should open rather quickly). Engine cooling fan(s) not operating as temp rises (when temp gauge goes up past normal range, check to see if fan is running. If not, it could be a switch that controls the fan operation, or less possible, a bad fan motor). A radiator plugged up with rust and sediment won't allow proper circulation of coolant, resulting in overheating. If coolant has not been changed in a long time, or appears rusty, flush the system thoroughly. You may need to have the radiator professionally flushed if it's plugged up bad. Good luck!
