What are all the possible
1.If your radiator burst replace. 2.With the car COOL, open the radiator cap or overflow and fill it.3.Leaving the cap off, start the car and let it warm up as you keep the radiator topped off. 4.Once it wont take anymore and your sure the car is completely warmed up, reinstall the cap.5.Everything else your gonna have to hurry on or your car may start overheating. Grab the top hose and squeeze it. If you can't almost grab it till it closes then you have a bad thermostat. Replace it, if you have any doubts, pull it off the car and boil it inside in a pan of water, you should see the spring move and open the plate.6.If thats not it check your water pump for flow, bearings, and belt condition.7.Also check all your fluids for antifreeze contamination, mainly the oil, as this can be a sign of a blown head gasket which is very common on these years of Gallants. REMEMBER your cooling system cools by building pressures of over 300 psi, and any flaws in your radiator during a overheat will blow! Hope this helps ya buddy! Shannon(Shizzo)
I have an overheating problem.... i have a
if there is no water dropping underside the car then it is the radiator pressure cap who is releasing the coolant out in form of vapor replace the cap but first check the coolant color if it is turn into milky color then it is the cylinder head gasket

with out see the
failure numbers i can tell you that the
egr valve may be partly blocked . it may open because it would have failed if it did not open.but the passage that lets the gas go through the valve may be blocked.you can inspect this by removing the
egr valve . when you get it off use a small knife and clean the
carbon out.you can run the
engine with the valve off .when you do .the engine should have a large vacuum and exhaust leak.if you are missing ether leak then it will need to be cleaned until you have both.
Motor will turn over but
to be more precise, would really need to know the model of engine;4G64,6A11,6A12 etc.should be on vehicle ID badge.the 4 denotes a 4 cylinder,6 is V6,the earlier models have an external coil,or coil pack, the later models have the coil either inside the distributor under the cap.if external coil, remove the coil HT lead that runs to the cap from the cap, place near an area that is earthed and crank engine, should see a spark jump to the metal object.
Both early and later models run modules inside distributors.these often fail.Either can replace them or just get a second hand dizzy complete
Also crank engine with cap off and ensure that rotor is turning.I assume that this one fits into the end of cam at one end of the head,so this should not be a problem, but still check.the more that we find that is ok,the closer we get to what isnt.
hope this helps or get back with some more info and will endeavour to pinpoint problem.
The heater radiator leaked and
you need a repair manual like haynes etc--the auto ECU can probly be reprogrammed thru a landline only for best results--the modules and relays in the trans may have issues or you mite need service it-change oil ,do a pressure chec ,make adjusts etc

Mitsubishi galant 1995 s.the battery seems to be
Yes my friend it could very well be your alternator. If you can drive your car to your locale parts house, the parts house usually will test your alternator free of charge or for a small fee. Another way to check is by starting your car and while its running, disconnect the negative battery terminal. If it dies, your alternator is faulty.
95 galant rotor removal
Most Mitsubishi distributors us a screw to secure the rotor to the distributor shaft. You may have to "bump" the starter a time or two to get it turned into position where you can get at it.
