I have a 2005 dodge grand carvan What do the codes p0700 and p0562 mean? and how do i fix it ?
P0700 is generic transmission code, transmission malfunction.. Have it read with a scanner to find the exact code. p0562 is battery voltage is low. Check positive and negative cables for corrosion and good connection. Also check the engine and body grounds. Make sure you have a engine to body strap/ground. They break. This could be the reason you're getting the p0700 code.
How do I remove the power steering reservoir so I can get to the coil pack?
the first answer was close. They missed the stud that is pressed into the ignition coil bracket. You can see the back of the stud when looking from low at the grill height towards the PS reservoir. the nut on the back side which can not be seen is the same size of those two top bolts. You will need a deep socket to get that off. While you are there I recommend cleaning the PS reservoir screen and flushing the PS system to help reduce noise at cold temps which is from starving the pump. There are youtube videos of that too.
2005 Dodge Grand Caravan power door locks will not
Here's how our problems played out: First we had a remote that wouldn't lock doors, then doors that wouldn't slide shut and finally locks that wouldn't lock at all. The problem is with the computers BCM. It took two failed trips to the dealer where they tried to replace fuses and misdiagnosed the problem. We found a shop that specializes in electrical systems and for $300, we've got it fixed. Here is their web site - you may be able to contact them and find out what worked.
