check you ecu. same problem happen to me in an izuzu rodeo. I let my fuel get to low and it sucked dirt into the filter and messed with that and it set off a code for the ecu and messed it up but if i had just replaced the ecu first i wouldnt have had to change the injectors or anything.

I don't know about the 2007's but earlier models have a parking light switch located on the top of the steering column. See if there is a switch there that got moved when cleaning.

Check all your connection, make sure there is nothing that it frayed. Also check to make sure that the high beam bulb on the left side is out. In the process of adding foglights/driving lights to my car I found that they do some REALLY strange things when you have a bad connection or a bulb out.

Check the fuse socket for power, if power then it's the fuse or wiring forward of the fuse.

If not, this car uses separate relays for each headlight; check your fuse box cover it will say relay HL LH and relay HL LH [headlight left hand]. with the tester in the socket or on the fuse [metal part on top] tap the relay. if you get power momentarily the relay is bad. if not, try swapping the two relays to see if the right stops working and the left starts.

Relays should be right next to the headlight fuses, lights must be on of course. Try that and let us know if that solves it.

I would do that plus test the plugs, wires and coil pack.

Error 700 code indicated is a transmission control system fault. The transmission's computer indicates a faulty component. You will need a diagnostic scan tool attached to the vehicle in order to properly diagnose the problem. You can bring your vehicle to an AAMCO station, and they will check this code for free. i noticed your vehicle is a 2007 and I would seem to think it is still under warranty. In this case I would schedule an appointment with a Subaru Dealership.

its sludged up on the bottom of your oil pan

transmission fluid. you need some. ours did the same. fix it fast, before you damage the transmission.

most likely the hi lo switch

check all ground connctions around/near the headlights for tightness corrosion, also have someone check voltage with headlights on , maybe system is being over charged by the Alternator and blowing the bulbs..

With the trans warm, drain the oil for 1/2 hour and renew it with good quality oil. Any times a good time for renewing your trans oil.

The exhaust system on your car is stainless steel, and it heats and cools quickly, there is nothing wrong with this. all your hearing is the joints in the exhaust system expanding and contracting. My 2007 impreza 2.5 does the same thing. And when you turn car off the system is cooling off and contracting.

1. Warm the engine up, Remove the Drain plug and drain oil out (Drain plug is on the drivers side of the pan).
2. When oil is done draining replace the drain plug and install a new crush seal (silvery washer on drain plug)
3. Next you will need a Oil filter socket. Use the oil filter socket with a 3/8 drive ratchet with a 6 inch extension, remove the filter, it will be full of oil.
4. Use fresh motor oil and coat the gasket on the new filter and install. tighten filter 1.5 turns past hand tight.
5. Refill the engine with 5w-30 Conventional oil. (start with 4 quarts than check the dipstick) Subaru recomends havoline as this is what they come with from the factory.
6. Wipe up any oil that may have spilled on the exhaust cross over pipe.
7. Start engine check for oil pressure and leaks.

This is a communication error with the BIU (body integrated unit). Need to take to the dealer, possible that the ECU needs to be replaced to fix this issue. It should be covered under the federal emmission wrty.

there are individual fuses for each side headlamps,both are 15amp located in fuse box underhood,check em out

check the sockets maybe there is not a good contact and burning the bulbs, also check the connectors the the sockets
