This happen to me 2 times already on my sprinter. The first it cost me $250. To get a lock smith to remove and make a new key. The second time I was not close to any lock smith and the key broke In the door. The first thing came to my mind was crazy glue. I when to a local store and brought a tube put a little on the other half of the key and held it inside the key hole for about 2-3 min and pull fast and it came out. The only way to get home was to stick the broken key in the ignition. When I got home I try it again and it work fine. I was able to take both pieces of to the lock smith and got a new key cut. You may have to try a couple of time and be patient it will work.
