2006 Acura MDX Touring Questions & Answers
Acura MDX 2006 got OBD code of u0107, any solution?
Acura code U0107 = "lost communication with throttle actuator control module"
test it and replace if tests indicate failure or out of spec.
if you don't have the ability to do this, take to your favorite mechanic or the stealership.
Rear spark plug bank is fouled. The 3 in front are fine. What cold be the problem?
I am assuming it is oil fouled rather than fuel fouled. Oil fouling is usually due to valve stem seal leakage. Most engines have the oil return on the cylinder head at the rear. When the engine is shut off, some oil pools at the rear of the head. If the valve guide seals are worn, then the oil will leak around the stem of the #4 valve and eventually foul the plug. If there are no real issues with the engine other than this one, it is usually best to keep a clean plug or two available and swap out the plug periodically when fouling is detected. Then clean the fouled one and keep for reuse later. If it is happening too often, getting the cylinder head reconditioned is a good idea.
Vtm4 and engine lights are on at the same time
are you parked, moving , idling, just key on, or what?
what is the car doing?
what are you doing?
The CHECK engine lamp glows key on to say , IM happy. now.
then you start car, and it must go out.
if it comes on driving it means , IM not happy
and that means connect a scan tool and read out the errors.
if that is too hard, (it's not)
then get it serviced.
there are only 2 paths here, DIY,or they do it.
hint , the newer the car the more things that can be unhappy
PCM/BCM/TCM/etc. or like my car, up to 14 computers , not happy.
fun stuff, no.....
How to clear tpms light manually
Set tires to correct pressure (34 PSI) is usually the best because it allows for temperature variations and drive your vehicle. If this does not fix, then you have a problem with a sensor.
Heat not working in 2006 mdx acura
The whole system is very simple. There is a valve that opens and closes on one of 2 hoses that come from the engine. If the heater core is not getting water, the valve itself is the problem. If they did the flushing properly they should have checked to see if that valve was fully open to allow the flushing process to clean out the heater core too. If there is sloshing in the heater core (check it by listening under the dashboard when heat is turned on) then there is AIR in the core stopping the antifreeze mix from going through its coils. Remove the heater switch on the heater hose and check it for proper action first. Next have a compressed air test of the heater core to see if it is clogged. If you fix this, try to do regular maintenance on your beautiful MDX!
Discharge car freon
Are you saying that the freon is leaking. Most likely the seal in the compressor is the problem
2008 Acura mDx battery dies often
It seems that the battery is not the problem. It might be that you have a short our something that is draining the battery while the car is off. Have you had any accessories added to the car that require battery power? Anything plugged in etc.?
