2011 Mazda Tribute - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
My 2008 Mazda Tribute sunroof leaks
First I'd access the Mazda dealer. If they can't identify the part or supply one, check with the aftermarket supply businesses. Best thing will be to take pictures of the part. You can also access many online sources and diagrams to identify the part and perhaps then to find it from a supplier. If all else fails I'd access the wrecking yards especially the online ones and the self service ones. This may be a part that is not just on one model or model year. Last resort might be to find someone who can 3-D or otherwise print a new one for you. If it looks like a rather simple item you may be even able to make one yourself. What the item is made of may not be the material it has to be made of.

Mazda tribute has no spark!what could be the cause?
How do you know there's no spark?
If engine cranks but won't start, that doesn't necessarily mean a no-spark situation. Try cranking the engine, then remove a spark plug and see if it's wet. If no, the problem is no fuel. If the fuel gauge is near empty, try adding a gallon of gas to the tank. If there's still no fuel to the engine, and the most likely reasons are 1) a clogged fuel filter or 2) the fuel pump relay has failed (fairly unlikely) or 3) the fuel pump itself has failed. If you haven't changed the filter for a while, might as well change it -- they're not very expensive. If that doesn't work, find the fuel pump relay (check owner's manual or online) and see if you can replace it temporarily with a non-essential relay from a different circuit.

How do you adjust the
On a 2006 Mazda Tribute which everyone tells me is a Ford Escape, in the cab, at the parking brake lever, remove the boot or decorative cover on the parking brake handle. The brake adjustment is a self-locking nut on the threaded end of the parking brake cable that connects to the left and right parking brake cables underneath the car.
The only adjustment possible is right there at the handle after you remove the boot that covers the parking brake handle in the center console. If the brake has been allowed to get loose, the cable may very well have come off the cable guide on the parking brake handle and there will be no braking and the cable may very well be cut or partially cut by the handle. With some straight screwdrivers push the cable into its guide and then adjust the parking brake.
But, underneath, there is no adjustment whatever possible for a 2006 Mazda Tribute.
On a 1991 F-250, yes, but not here. Don't get dirty for nothing. This is the easiest brake to adjust since the old screw handles.

Mazda tribute problems
The indicator is actually telling you there is a leak in the evap system. This can be caused by a loose cap, on cars that have them; but it will come on for any leak in the system. The capless fuel pipe may not be sealing, or any hose in the system may be leaking. Check the small hoses connected to the engine intake manifold--one of those is the purge line, which is part of the evap system. The rest of the system includes a charcoal canister and a vent line from the fuel tank. There may also be a vent valve connected to the canister. A leak in any of these can cause the light to stay on and may affect the operation of the engine, if the leak is large.
