My car wont turn over, but all electrical works. Got a code of P 161b. Any answers???

Check your starter motor isn't jammed. Put your car in gear and rock it back and forth, if that isn't it check the starter motor out of the car .

Got a 2011 jeep patriot. Dont know where the fuel pump relay is or which one. I found a group of relays under the drivers side wheel well. Which one is for the fuel pump?

It should be marked on the underside of the cover you remove to see the relays. Or just google search it.

2011 Jeep Patriot CVT WONT TRANSITION TO HIGHER SPEED. Runs fine up to 6k rpm at 30 mph. Engine brakes back down to idle very well. My impression is no slipping of the belt. Could this be the TCM?

Could be. Codes help. There is a chip with the valve body that can go bad. The TCM is out side the transmission.

Where is the fuse for the horn and what is the number? Thank you

the schematic does use numbers. sure but there is NONE. why not ask how to diagnose it and not guess? here ill look at alldata.com (so can you) prior to about 2007, there was a horn fuse, not now. OPEN hood, see that TIPM box, with zillions of fuses and relays. BINGO. its all there on one box, thus its name . it also is a slave computer to the can-bus masters . Ill quote the FSM now. "to diagnose the horn system requires the use of a scan tool" do you know why? ill explain, the button is pressed, the Cluster brain sees that and sends a command (serial CAN-bus data) to TIPM box, it receives, it and activates the horn driver module (be that a relay or transistor) and the horn honks. (that module has no socket) if you get COMM errors, then the horn can fail even with all horn parts good end to end.!!!! see? all that magic, with distributed processing? Allen Turning with be shocked. (or eat his apple, RIP) bad news, the horn relay is soldered into the TIPM that cant stop me , I have a pro soldering station. (since 1975) DTCs (scans) U0141? all this fancy junk started in 2007 , making scan tools mandatory ok took, me awhile to find your answer, (due to blurry schematics online) there is NO HORN FUSE, so your ASSUMPTION is wrong. the TIPM fuse main power is ALL, to IT, is all the power it needs to drive the horn and other things, and that is not blown because the TIPM goes dead and with that vast other things, bringing us full circle back to square 1. why not scan it first, like your ASE pro will do, step one.

why would you think that? my car has a TIPM (enginebay) just one box. (saves money that way, why have 2,3,4 boxes like in the olden days? i guess you lost your operators guide in the glove box already? and in that is the fuse boxes. note what is missing....... carefully.

Imrc

read that page in the FSM. on P2006, and do what it says. same answer for all cars, it tell you what tests to do to find the cause. try alldata.com , log in and read what it says;. the PCM can set that for 2 reasons. 1: the IRMC is bad. 2: the vacuum reading on the engine or so out of wack. this test lies. this might be under the 8year, smog warranty, did you check? what it does is , give better low end torque. so, its no show stopper. in a real jeep shop, the attach their scan tool and tell it to cycle the IMRC solenoid, and if it moves, then it must be some other cause. if it dont move, they fix that. (wires bad, or solenoid) one thing people dont understand is that most cheap scan tools (like used in most autozoned) do not let you see all OBD2 DTC codes there are many, codes, it seems yours is scanning right. P2. is a factory only code. so got other codes thrown? or other symptoms, like bogging or misfire, or?????? also nobody can tell you what you can do. we dont know your skills or tools ? or many other facts. this code means the feed back signal says it didnt move, or did not move fully. that is why not having factory tool makes this hard. check connections, test the MFV. by hand. test the solenoid by hand. if all these check out, then we scan the system looking for all other sensors reading funny. here is the FSM page . Intake Manifold Runner Control Stuck Closed Number of Trips to Set Code: 1
Trouble Code Conditions: The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) detects that the position feedback of the Manifold Flow Valve Position Sensor is not within range of the adapted value learned during in-plant initialization or after a non volatile memory reset (adaptive memory clear). Possible Causes:
  • * 5 volt supply circuit open or high resistance, shorted to voltage, ground or another circuit
  • * MFV signal circuit open or high resistance, shorted to voltage, ground or another circuit
  • * Sensor ground circuit open or high resistance
  • * Manifold flow valve
  • * Intake manifold
  • * PCM

My 2011 jeep patriot stalls when the a/c is on

When the A/C is turned on the computer sends a signal to the IAC thats the idle air control to make adjustments for the added load on the engine i could be in the IAC, the A/C switch, a relay, or the A/C compressor which is the least likely, take it to a shop they should figure out the exact problem in no time

Heater motor not working

Check heater fuse, location should be listed on fuse panel. If the fuse is good the the motor may have failed. Being a 2011 it should still have a factory warranty, if this is the case then the best advice would be to pay a visit to your local service center.

How can I manually get

You can't. You will need a code reader that plugs into the diagnostic link. The code reader is available at most auto supply stores for around 40 dollars. A good tool to have, but expertise and good diagnostic skills are required to perform basic repairs and trouble shooting.
