Anti skid

So you have several problems Why ask ! Read your owners manual? What do you usually do when you have a vehicle problem? Go to a repair shop, so they can diagnose any & all things you want to know about & are having problems with Have to look at scan tool data Check for codes & diagnose & resolve those issues first You have an engine performance issue & an abs braking system fault Do you not go to a shop when things do work correctly? Have to do that, road test & look at data Most folks just drive & never do any Preventative Maintenance, so no wonder problems come up to haunt you, a couple times a year

Vibration

sounds like the brake rotors are out of round, check for rust and pitting on the face of the rotors, could be front or rear. If the steering wheel is shaking its most likely in the front, if you are feeling it in the seat rear. These trucks are famous for rear brake issues.

Windshield Wipers

I would guess that the connection between the wipers and battery has a problem. If it can't start in the down position, energy isn't getting to it. It might also be the type of wipers you have. Elisa Jed ' http://www.mothersautoglass.ca/en/

Will not go in reverse

Check fluid level. Idle truck until it's warm and then check the level. If the level checks out good, then check the transmission filter, at the same time while under the vehicle without it running have someone shift gears and see if it is moving. If all that checks out your transmission or torque convertor has failed I’m happy to assist further over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/jeremy_677dced97ad9bddf

The "tighten fuel cap" message

It's the gas cap sensor. Or you are getting a vaccuum leak somewhere.

Can't find the torque head bolt pattern for a 1996 gmc sierra 5.7 vortex

The "pattern" for ANY cylinder head is pretty much the same...start with the bolts in the center of the head and work your way out to both ends.Torquing the cylinder head on your 5.7L Vortec engine to manufacturer specifications requires the use of a "torque angle" gauge, as well as a traditional torque meter. The torque specifications are as follows:> Step 1: All bolts: 22 Ft Lbs (30 Nm.)> Step 2: Short bolts: Additional 55 degrees; Medium bolts: Additional 65 degrees; Long bolts: Additional 75 degrees
