07 buick lucerne cx 3.8 cluster says drive shifter says park. .

If the cluster on your 2007 Buick Lucerne CX 3.8 is showing "Drive" while the shifter says "Park" and the car won't start, there could be a few potential issues. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:
  1. Check the shifter cable: The shifter cable connects the shifter to the transmission. If it is disconnected or broken, it can cause the shifter to not function properly. Check the cable and replace it if necessary.
  2. Check the shift linkage: The shift linkage connects the shifter to the transmission. If it is disconnected or broken, it can cause the shifter to not function properly. Check the linkage and replace it if necessary.
  3. Check the transmission range sensor: The transmission range sensor is responsible for detecting the position of the shifter and telling the engine control module (ECM) which gear the car is in. If it is malfunctioning, it can cause the car to not start or display incorrect gear information. Check the sensor and replace it if necessary.
  4. Check the battery: A weak or dead battery can cause the car to not start or display incorrect information. Check the battery and replace it if necessary.
  5. Contact a mechanic: If none of the above solutions work, it may be necessary to contact a mechanic for further assistance. They may be able to provide additional troubleshooting steps or arrange for a repair of your car if necessary.
Note: Before attempting any maintenance or repair work on your car, be sure to follow all safety precautions and refer to the owner's manual for guidance. Additionally, if you are not experienced with working on cars, it may be best to seek professional help.

Can you put a Chevy Impala transmission in a 2007 Buick Lucerne cxl 3.8

It is unlikely that a Chevy Impala transmission can be directly installed in a 2007 Buick Lucerne CX 3.8, as they are two different vehicles with different transmissions. The Buick Lucerne uses the 4T65E transmission, while the Chevy Impala may have different transmission options depending on the year and model. Even if the transmissions have similar designs, there may be differences in the mounting points, electronics, and other components that would prevent a direct swap. It is always recommended to use the same transmission model that came with the vehicle, or to consult with a professional mechanic or transmission specialist for proper guidance.

How do I fix it my 2006 third row seat, that won't open.

Without changing the lock, the third row seat could only be opened by hand with a flat-head screwdriver or another tool, like a crowbar. This is not advised, and you should proceed with great caution. You run the danger of further destroying the latch and seat. The latch should constantly be changed for a fresh one.

2008 Buick Lacrosse. The passenger front parking light does not come on, but the turn signal works.

Possibly bad ground connection - G100 In back of the right headlamp on the frame. Headlamps, turn signals, parking lamp for the right all ground at that point. Corrosion in the wire, broken park lamp wire. Headlamps, turn signals, parking lamp all have their own ground wire that connects at that point. Hooking up a professional grade scan tool an check for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes in the BCM - body control module may point in a diagnostic direction. DTC B3949: Right Front Turn Signal Right Front Park/Turn Signal Inoperative Circuit/System Description The Body Control Module (BCM) controls the turn signals based on an input from the turn signal switch, part of the multifunction turn signal lever. The BCM receives an input from one of two signal circuits to determine which turn signal function is requested. When the turn signal lever is placed in the LEFT position, the left turn signal switch signal circuit is grounded indicating that left turn signal operation is requested. When the turn signal lever is placed in the RIGHT position, the right turn signal switch signal circuit is grounded indicating that right turn signal operation is requested. When a turn signal input is received from the turn signal switch, the BCM will activate the appropriate turn signals. The BCM pulses voltage to the applicable turn signals via the turn signal lamp supply voltage circuits, illuminating the required turn signal lamps. B3949 A short to voltage, short to ground, or an open/high resistance is seen on the right front turn signal lamp supply voltage circuit. You know how to test electrical circuits?
