97 Buick Park Ave No Crank No Start

You will need to get that 'adapter' for the OBD scanner repaired. If the issue is with a sensor the OBD port is the easiest way to find out which one it could be. If there is a fuse for the starter check that is OK. Check for voltage at the actual starter motor. How old is the battery? Even with a full charge an old or weak battery will struggle to turn the starter motor. The click is most likely the Starter Relay in the fuse box operating. Sometimes if these fail it will stop your vehicle from starting. They are usually cheap to buy so it might be worth replacing it anyway. Sometimes the repair can be that easy.

How to remove drivers front door panel on a 2010 Buick Lucerne

Here are the general steps for removing the driver's front door panel on a 2010 Buick Lucerne:
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent any accidental electrical damage.
  2. Pry off the trim piece around the door handle with a trim tool or a flat screwdriver.
  3. Remove the screw located behind the door handle trim piece.
  4. Remove the screw located behind the armrest. This may be hidden under a small plastic cover that you can pry off.
  5. Pry off the door panel by gently pulling it away from the door. Use a trim tool or a flat screwdriver to carefully pry around the edges of the panel until all the retaining clips are released.
  6. Disconnect any electrical connectors, such as power window and lock switches, that are attached to the panel.
  7. Lift the panel up and away from the door, being careful not to damage the panel or any attached wires.
Once you have removed the door panel, you can access the inside of the door for repairs or upgrades. Remember to reinstall the panel carefully and securely, making sure to reattach any electrical connectors and aligning all the retaining clips before pressing the panel back into place.

On occasion, our 2013 Buick Enclave will not start. (no noise, no click, nothing) We had someone tell us to carry the other set of keys and try them.

It sounds like there may be an issue with the ignition system in your 2013 Buick Enclave, particularly the key fob or the ignition switch. When the issue occurs, it's possible that the signal from the key fob is not being properly transmitted to the vehicle's computer, or the ignition switch may not be receiving the signal correctly. One possibility is that the problem is related to the AC repair that was done before. It's possible that something was unplugged or not secured properly during the repair, which is causing intermittent issues with the ignition system. I would recommend taking your car back to the dealership and explaining the issue in detail. Even though they were not able to find the issue before, it's possible that they may be able to identify the problem this time. You may also want to mention the AC repair and ask if they can check to see if anything was missed during the repair. If the dealership is unable to find the issue, you may want to take your car to an independent mechanic who specializes in electrical issues. They may be able to diagnose the issue by testing the ignition system and checking for any loose connections or wiring problems. Overall, it's important to get this issue addressed as soon as possible to avoid getting stranded with a vehicle that won't start.

2005 Buick Lesabre has po300 code. Changed the coil pack and ignition module. Still hesitates and runs rough. What do I do next?

If you've already replaced the coil pack and ignition module but are still experiencing hesitation and rough running on your 2005 Buick LeSabre with a PO300 code, there are several things you can do next:
  1. Check the spark plugs: Even if they appear to be in good condition, it's possible that one or more of the spark plugs is faulty or not functioning properly. Check each one to make sure they are clean and in good condition, and replace any that appear worn or damaged.
  2. Check the fuel system: The issue could be related to the fuel system, such as a clogged fuel filter or a failing fuel pump. Check the fuel pressure to make sure it's within the manufacturer's specifications, and replace the fuel filter if necessary.
  3. Check the air intake system: A clogged air filter or a problem with the air intake system can also cause hesitation and rough running. Make sure the air filter is clean and in good condition, and check the air intake system for any clogs or obstructions.
  4. Check the engine compression: If none of the above steps resolve the issue, it's possible that there is a problem with the engine itself, such as low compression in one or more cylinders. A compression test can help identify if this is the case.
If you're still having trouble after checking these items, it may be best to take your Buick LeSabre to a qualified mechanic for a diagnostic evaluation.

2001 Buick Legal LS dash board mileage light is very dim, the svs light and antilock light stay on

If the dashboard mileage light on your 2001 Buick Regal LS is very dim and the Service Vehicle Soon (SVS) light and antilock light stay on, there could be a few potential causes for this issue. Here are some things you can check:
  1. Dim dashboard light: If the dashboard mileage light is very dim, it could be due to a burnt-out bulb or a problem with the dimmer switch. Try turning up the brightness using the dimmer switch, and if that doesn't work, check the bulb and replace it if necessary.
  2. SVS light and antilock light: The SVS light and antilock light staying on could indicate a problem with the car's computer system or with the antilock brake system. It could be caused by a faulty sensor, a wiring issue, or a problem with the computer itself. It's recommended to have the car's computer system scanned for error codes to determine the root cause of the issue.
  3. Battery or charging system: A weak battery or faulty alternator can cause electrical issues in the car, which could be related to the dim dashboard light and the warning lights staying on. Have the battery and charging system checked to rule out this possibility.
