When you don't know which fuse is which, I would go ahead and check them all.All you need is a 12 volt test light which has a sharp probe on one end and an alligator clip on the other end.Ground the alligator clip to a piece of metal by the fuse box. Then turn the ignition switch to the on position. Then probe both sides of every fuse.It should light on both sides. If you find a fuse that only lights on one side, that fuse is blown. If it doesn't light on either side, skip that fuse as that is not the bad one (those are generally for headlights or engine components). If none of the fuses light up, check your ground or change to another ground location. You can always check to make sure your tester is working by checking it across the battery. If it doesn't light there, the tester bulb is burnt out. When you find the blown fuse, replace it with the same color/same amps. Hope this helps.Good luck :O)
no engine told at all
no year told
and ECT is not bad 99%^ of the time.
it is overheating for 10 to more reasons and posted here vast times.
leaking 50%AF coolant is top cause, or using only water< super bad that)
50%AF boils at 165F
not told you your evidence of overheating.
220f is not overheating
at about 225F the RAD fans kit on and must.
is rad cap off deed cold in the morning, show RAD is 100% full of AF coolant?
AF= antifreeze and anti-boil both.
if there is air in the cooling loop the ECT then lies to you and the PCM both
ECT does not work with AIR only coolant,,AIR means lack of coolant there.
i will stop here. have 10 tests to find it.
and tools you do not have to find it.
leakdown tool
IR thermal gun.
No, you should not be able to turn the rear differential by hand on a 2007 Jeep Compass with the tires on the ground after removing the driveshaft. The rear differential is responsible for transferring power from the engine to the rear wheels, and it should not rotate freely when the vehicle is in a stationary position.
If you can turn the rear differential easily by hand with the tires on the ground, it may indicate an issue with the differential or the components associated with it, such as the differential gears, bearings, or axle shafts. It's recommended to have a qualified mechanic or technician inspect the rear differential to diagnose and address any potential problems.
No because if the phone connection works, it means the radio amplifier works. You either have a radio stage issue or an aerial issue. In fact it appears to be a well known issue!
Question edited for clarity and toss in a few capital letters.
Question moved to model category.
The first thing to do would be to check the fuses and relays covering those functions. In reality, you need and auto electrician with a pro grade scan tool computer.
Try forcing it to reset, disconnect the battery, let is set for about 15 minutes and reconnect, that may solve your problem. I have seen similar things on other vehicles but I am only taking a SWAG on this one.
There may be a short or broken wire. Check main fuses as well they should be labeled either Fuse box down by your feet or the one under hood . They should all have diagrams on inside of fuse box covers
theres normally a little button on the side you press on the plastic base where the stem of the headrest goes in, you press that as you lift the headrest up and out of the seat, hope this helps
Consider replacing the potentiometers. They wear over time. Check with a VOM and you may find similar "opens" on the throttle pedal potentiometer.
Throttle and perhaps stepper motor are suspect.
PREsume that you checked for leaks...., right?
