SOURCE: no fuel

I come to find out,the fuel command is controlled by the computer, due to corrosion in the internals, it is not telling the fuel pump to turn on,so in turn, I run a switch to the power side of the fuell pump, it works, but the weird thing is, you only need the power on to start the truck, after its running, you can shut the switch off, it stays running, shut it off, you need to turn the power on to make it start pumping again, now who can explain this??

SOURCE: no fuel??

bad advice.
on this car , the fuel pump relay above knees ,green socket
energizes for 3 seconds only at key on.
this pressurizes the lines.
then when cranking the pump runs full time.
then when running , it runs full time.

I have a bench test jig for this ECU and that is exactly how it works
and so says the FSM.

this being an 8v engine (you didnt say) there is a test port onthe
the left banjo fitting of the fuel filter , a 6mm bolt. 10mm head.
remove it and put on a fuel pressure tester.
about 30 psi.
you must bleed the pressure off before connecting.

in your case, outdoors no smoking.
lots of fresh air.

SOURCE: fuel pump won't power up on 94 rf600r

Hi and welcome to FixYa,

On most Suzukis with fuel pump that I have worked on, the wiring would be:

  • Yellow/Green - start interlock, connected to the clutch lever position switch and/or starter control relay;
  • Black/White - ground;
  • Orange/Yellow - ignition B+12; and
  • Black/Yellow - trigger pulse, connected to the - terminal of one of the ignition coils and/or to the CDI/igniter.
Just a start, do postback how things turned up or should you need additional information. Good luck and Thank you for using FixYa.

I have a 2013 Kawasaki Teryx and I went to move it. The lights came on for a split second and then everything shut off. The headlights and the winch work, but nothing else.

Sounds like a short or one of main sensors is burned out.. Mite get a voltage meter and see if your getting
Power or not. Go to google Image and get the schematics of the main wiring
Systems and go threw it piece by piece.
Or you mite just have a main fuse blown. Get the schematics and check
Each system good luck.

I have a 2005 predator and the problem is that it has no power I Just put a new battery and still have no power what could I do

You need to check your starter relay, safety switch and there may be a few other components right there - your electrical schematic is included - I believe it's for the 50 but they should be nearly identical if not exact. If you just tried a new battery - I would check every wire, connection, ground, and then check the starter relay and safety switch. Any of those components are shot and it'll never start. Track down the fuel line to the fuel pump and check the wiring there. You should have good power to the pump, and you should have a good electrical ground. If you have both but the pump isn't pumping, and the tank has plenty of good fresh gas and the gas petcock is turned on, then the fuel pump needs replacing.

Apache quad

what kind of a small noise? Describe? Is it a click, or a slight fizzle sound? If it is a fizzle sound, make sure none of the earth wires have come off the battery, or poor earth grounding. If it is a click, it could be the start relay/ignition coil. I dont have the model ATV you have, but mine has a small retangled black box, smaller than a pack of matches, if you follow the wires from your ignition coil. hold that and start and feel a click. The relay will send current to your starter. No click, no start. So check the ignitiion coil. Another problem can be a starter continual trying to run - which is a sticky relay.
They are simple things, spark, and fuel, and they run. I think you are having the same problem as I did.. someone before me fitted a kill switch and one of the wires came off the earth there, and it wouldnt start. Mine was under my seat, but it's a chinese quad, so just folllow the wires to the battery and from the battery until it meets the chassis.
