Check the fuses. And if not ur goin to need a multi meter to check to see if it getting power to the screen itself. Most times it can just be a broken or lose ground. If not i would trace the wires back to the wire harrness for any tears or burns

Look under the seat also if any work was done to it and they hookef the wires up backwards it will run for a short while but it will burn a voltage regulator

Unless you have a few special tools...flywheel remover, case splitters, crank installer, clutch tool, factory service manual.etc.. TAKE it to a professional!!

I am laughing at some of these "fixes".. remove the carburetor, take it to the dealer, he will know what you need. There is a rebuild kit (or new plunger kit) for this pump.. you MIGHT be able to clean it and replace the o-ring (NOT WITH A BIGGER ONE) - but the correct one..I know this is a pain in the a$$.. let a professional repair/fix it instead of guessing..
