I have a 1993 arctic cat 700 efi that the battery keeps going dead in how do I check if its charging?

I go about three miles with the sled and the battery goes dead how do I check to see if the sled is charging?

All efi sleds run on computers and the computer also runs somethin called a stater it is what charges the battery when the motor is running there should be cables that run directly for that

When a battery dies while the engine is running it is not being charged. When the charger is working the engine will run without a battery
