Looking for a service manual for Thermador MC30WP/01 speed oven
The transformer that supplies the magnatron is fed from the same part of the machine that feeds the turntable motor.
The turntable motor is fed through one of the door safety switches.
Check the door switches and feed fuse. If a diode pack has failed, that will blow the fuse or even damage the switch as well.

Thermador SMW272 Microwave Power Outlet Burnt
That is a funny looking unit! You know we are Fixya and not Thermador right?
There must be too much heat back there and it is over heating the socket and the microwave lead which isn't heat resistant and normally only has its own heat to contend with.
What I would do is pull all that appliance out an put it on the other side to the kitchen, and ask a bigger electrical contractor to MOVE and REPLACE a pair of outlets in a kitchen for a remodel. What I would do is to certainly move the microwave outlet to the cupboard next door. Make a decision whether to move to 220 oven outlet as well. Don't mention anything about burning plugs or the 87 volts. Tell them you would like Industrial Quality Outlets and not domestic. I reckon that will fix the problem.

Thermador Microwave Oven Model MBBS Serial No FD
Oh dear, I hope the magnetron still works. That plate you describe is called the Waveguide Cover. This cover must be kept clean otherwise the food particles will carbonize and cause exactly what you have described.
Contact the manufacturers web site for a supplier in your area or look on ebay, espares.co.uk depending on your location.
When it has been changed, I hope the magnetron/aerial is OK.
Thermador Built-In Microwave MBBS/01 Diminished Power
Smell could indicate burnt rectifier or mag. ( Or Both) Even a partially shorting transformer that hasnt yet fully shorted out and blown your fuse. I do not know that unit, but if it would happen to have 2 mag systems you could lose 1 and it still heat but probably only at around half power. It has been a long while since I have had to work on a Thermadore. But last time I did I rememeber most of their parts distributors I used to work with had all closed. Do you still have a manuel for that unit from when you purchased it?? Try to find a contact phone number to see if you can call thermador. Ask them if they have anyone in your area doing service for them. While it may no longer be under warranty, a servicer who represents them will have parts, or acces to parts and service literature that other servicers will not.
