Charger keeps flashing red and
Hi,
Look at the connector end that plugs into the bike. You might have to take it apart to see the wires inside. My son has a Razor Vespa type scooter and the solder job for the wires inside the connector were not the best. It might be a broken wire, especially if it's flashing between red and green.
Hope this Helps!

Have you tried removing plastic chain guard and making sure chain is not off track i had this problem and that is all it was.
Chain & Sprocket turn, but Rear Wheel Not engaging/spinning
The problem is witht he flywheel on the rear wheel assembly. I had mine
fixed by a professional last night (at a bike store). Razor uses a very
cheap spring that is designed to fail and then to top that off did not
use enough bearings as well (12 bearings short out of the factory). My
son had also sprayed WD-40 all around the back axle (trying to make it
faster). This is bad because, the bearings are packed in grease and
WD-40 is a de-greaser. Never get WD-40 anywhere near your back axle!!!
Anyway, the flywheel was way easier to remove than I thought. It is
threaded onto the rim's axle shaft and just screws off. Once you get the
flywheel, off you have to take it apart, fabricate a new spring (my
son's new spring came from an old 10 speed's tensioning spring), reset
the 3 pawls, repack the bearings, put the flywheel back together, and screw it back onto the wheel. I will post a YouTube video on this later. Hopefully this is enough info to get you started.
What can be wrong with my grandson's dirt bike. It was just taken out of the box and charged yesterday. Today we charged it but the bike won't move.
I think you can a new dirt bike charger easily on Amazon or on the razor website. Be aware of how you use the battery though, it is the same idea for a lot of mobility equipment (electric scooters, electric wheelchairs, electric bikes, and etc...). You need to use the battery PROPERLY. For example, charge them from time to time, don't leave them there for a long period of time just because you don't need to ride out your electric dirt bike. Your battery's longevity will get hurt. Also, protect it from water and dust. I learn a lot more about outdoor sports equipment on this site: https://mobilityseeker.com/.
Razor MX500 not working...clueless Mom trying to
Either the cheap lead acid batteries are near dead (mostly due to improper maintainance (lead batteries are way too much trouble and lithium should be considered!)
There could be a loose or corroded connection - check on all your wiring, especially the ones to the motor.
Also where it goes into the motor is fragile and people bump that area and it rips the wire, there is a steel spring that surroiunds the wire/s and this sometimes shorts out because of the damaged cause from laying the bike on it's side. check these wires over and tug on the connector wires to find the weak connection. Also verify that your charger turns red indicating it is charging when attempting to charge the bike, if it stays green chances are a dead battery or BMS controller inside battery (Lithium only!)\
Most repairs are very simple if you take the time to check out the connectors and wiring, especially if you use it in bad weather, things get corroded from being wet and power shorts out then corrodes the wires and connectors.
Good to insulate them for the rain etc...
Think Im on the right track here, and i have many ebike because people dont know how to fix simple issues with a tester.
My razor mx 500 motor won't turn.
I think you are talking about an electric motor on your bike . If the motor is New you may have a bad throttle switch . You can use an ohm meter to check the throttle switch . Connect the two leads of the ohm meter to the wires of the throttle switch ( dissconected) . As you turn the throttle the ohm reading should coraspond to how much you turn it .
I have a mx400 razor.
DOES THE BIKE HAVE A FUSE CONNECTION BEFORE THE
CONTROLLER? IF IT DOES THEN I WOULD LOOK FOR THE
FUSE LINE AND IF IT DON'T THEN I AGREE WITH YOU'R
ASSUMPTION.IF AND WHEN YOU DECIDE TO FIX IT,I WOULD CONSIDER A FUSE I'LL BE LESS $$$.
