Line 6 Low Down 400 bass guitar head

Make sure the volume and master volume are turned up. Try the amp with a different cabinet and a known good speaker cable. If you get sound, it's your speakers or your speaker cable. If still no sound, you need your amp serviced.

Where can i get a schematic..

I've also been looking HD500 schematic, but never got it. You can use X3L schematic as a reference and compared. Some sections of the X3L diagram, similar to the HD500. By the way, what is the problem with your HD500? Maybe I can help or share. HD500 25897258-xykdzr1cdriwl1tmr4ngy0qt-1-0.jpg X3L 25897258-xykdzr1cdriwl1tmr4ngy0qt-1-1.jpg

Does the line6 dl4 delay modeller have a fuse

I have worked on this model and I don't recall it having an internal fuse. It may be your power supply. One way to test the power supply is to momentarily connect a car 12 bulb to the power supply's connector tip.My email address is [email protected] if you have any further questions.

Heating when powering on?

Be sure you are using the correct voltage power supply for your area. If so, it's likely you have an internal power supply part failing. Best take it to an authourized Line 6 repair center or return it to the factory for repair.

"Insane button has stopped working"

those micro switches tend to go out after awhile. what i have done is (if you have experience with circuit board handling and are proficient at soldering.) de-solder the bad switch and take it down to radio shack and have them size it up. and just replace it. i have had to do this with several of my line 6 products

Power supply polarity

Most of the time these things will have the negative in the middle of the socket and positive on the outside. I have found this true on most musical equipment but, other electronics will usually have the opposite. If it says 2000 mA, it has to have at least that much current to work properly, more is ok, less is not. Voltage must be the same to avoid damage. FIRST, I would definitely check the power supply with a test meter to be sure it is dead. The socket has a switch mechanism to turn on the battery when it is unplugged which could be stuck. If it were mine, I would take it back where I bought it and let them deal with it.

Bank up button short

okay. (I've experienced this myself). There is a small On/Off button on the circuit board below the stomp pedal. You have to open the unit to change this out. if you have any experience soldering this will be no problem. Now the button you de-solder, take with you to any local radio shack and match it up. check for number of pins that go in the circuit board and height of the push button. (i had to super glue a small piece of rubber to mine so it would reach the stomp pedal). and just replace it with that. Your problems will be resolved. and note these buttons go out frequently depending on the use. its most annoying. Good luck!
