Need a fuel line diagram for my Homelite vac attack 2 model UT09834

You should have 2 lined coming from tank. A return and feed. Normally the return is the lowest positioned outlet on the carb, and the feed is at the top. When pumping the purge bulb take the gas cap off tank, and you should see fuel being returned to the tank from the return line. If not, switch the lines on carb. If still not returning fuel to the tank, you will need to pull the carb and inspect the metering and fuel pump diaphrams.

What gas does a Homelite 16 " Ranger chain saw use

The recommended fuel mixture is a 50-to-1 ratio of unleaded gasoline and two-cycle engine oil, and the manufacturer recommends the use of a two-cycle oil that contains fuel stabilizer to keep the mixture fresh if you are not using it immediately.

Homelite xl chainsaw won't start. I took out spark plug, put in some fuel and if fired right up. But won't run.

You need to clean out the carb. possibly replace the Needle Valve and check the Diaphram for stiffness. Also check the fuel line for cracks and rott.

Cannot undo nut on bottom of Strimmer

Make sure you are turning the nut to the right to loosen, if you are already doing that but cannot hold the line head still to loosen the nut some feature a hole to insert a screwdriver or pin (supplied with the trimmer) or if yours does not have that: use a nylon strap or even a leather belt to wrap around the head, and then clamp the loose end in a vise or quick clamps and it will hold it in place well enough to loosen the bolt.

Won't start

Remove the spark plug and check the spark--it should be blue and snappy. If weak or nothing at all, try a new plug and retest. If still poor, remove the left side cover to expose the flywheel and ignition module. Check and set the module to flywheel magnet pole gap using a thin business card for a gauge--place the card on the flywheel, loosen the mounting screws on the module and allow it to pull to the magnets, tighten the screws, and rotate the flywheel to remove the card. Recheck for spark. If still nothing, remove the wire from the module that goes to the stop switch and retest again. If still dead, the module is defective and needs to be replaced. If the first test produced good spark, then place a spoonful of fuel mix in the cylinder, install the plug and see if you get a few pops. If ok, then concentrate on the fuel system. Make sure the carburetor is tight to the engine. Are you using fresh gas and mixing 50:1 with full synthetic saw oil--not boat motor oil or other petroleum based oils? It's possible that something has become defective within the carburetor, but check the lower chamber diaphragm and the fuel metering valve that it controls. Go to: http://www.drystacked.com for a very good article on the workings of the Walbro carburetor. Hope some of this helps you!
