No sound
other than just double checking your switches settings there really isn't much you can do ,as there really isn't any easy to replace parts inside and that would be cost prohibitive anyhow , but do remember it is a clock radio , if its set t o use the alarm the radio will not work and not the cd either , ck all your switches for proper setting , one may have got bumped by you or cleaning staff
this is the reason I use a sound bar/phone dock as I use it to charge my phone and play music all day at my desk , they only cost about fifteen bucks to buy , and best thing is there's nothing for anyone to mess with when im not there as it wont work without my phone docked in it !!
HAVE LOADED CD, PRESS PLAY BUT GET ONLY A WHIRRING NOISE THEN Er WITH BATTERY ICON ON DISPLAY BUTTON - HOW DO I GET THE CD TO PLAY?
Normally a battery icon on a display indicates that the battery power is too low to operate the device. If the device uses disposable batteries, it's time to replace them with fresh ones. If it uses rechargeable batteries, recharge them. If recharging the batteries fails to work, they may have reached their useful lifetime and need to be replaced as well. If the unit has a internal battery that is chargeable, and charging fails to work, you may need to have the unit serviced to replace the internal battery(ies) or just get a new unit, depending on the cost-effectiveness of repairs.
