Casdon washing machine red light flashing
Quite a simple fix!. The door sensor inside the housing has moved, so when the door closes the connector on the door isn't touching the micro-switch inside.
Remove the batteries first and then undo the screws on the back of the unit and pull it slowly apart. Do not remove the screw that is in the centre of the drum on the back. This doesn't need removing!
Once pulled apart undo the 4 screws that hold the drum housing in place. You will then see the micro-switch which will probably need adjusting up into its original position. Once back into position, I found using strong tape the best, test the door by closing it. If the sensor is in the correct position you will hear the micro-switch click on and off.
Put all the screws back, put the batteries back in and away you go! With the door closed the drum should start spinning around again when you hit the Wash buttons.
Any ideas how to get the Lemax train to work - batteries ok and all turned on and put in the correct place x thank you
If you have a digital multimeter, you can test the total voltage at the end contacts in the battery compartment. Also test the switch. Lemax give no support to items they sell once they are 'retired', so the best option is to take it to a local model shop. They will repair or know someone that does. They will be busy as everyone is pulling their Christmas stuff from storage. Lots on here this week.
https://support.lemaxcollection.com/support/homeThe Lemax small printOur collectors have had success locating hard-to-find items such as this on 3rd party vendor sites like Ebay and Amazon. Lemax collectors have found assistance with local repair technicians and hobby shops that deal with similar electrical giftware. Our best recommendation for repair would be to google hobby/electrical repair shops or technicians in your area. Please note that Lemax items that have been retired are no longer being produced and replacement parts are not available. In addition, Lemax would consider merchandise purchased on clearance/closeout to be considered “as is” merchandise. Lemax would not offer any additional recourse at this time. ..
