Hi there, I just got myself a K1000 Pentax camera, as a gift. I'm not a collector nor photographer, I just wanted to know more about this camera its value and if one can just keep it as a collectors item. I noticed its different from all the ones I've seen so far, it has no sahai LOGO like the others.. It is fairly new... Kindly advise accordingly.

You have yourself a camera with pedigree and it would be a shame not to put a few rolls of film through it before you decide whether to continue to use it, store it as a collectible or sell it on. Using a manual film camera is interesting and rewarding and can be fun - it is an experience no one should miss. Like learning to drive, at first there seems too many things to think of but with the help of a little reading most people soon master the basics. There is plenty of information online - see link below... https://www.google.com/search?q=K1000+Pentax+camera&rlz=1C1CAFB_enGB673GB676&oq=K1000+Pentax+camera&aqs=chrome..69i57&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8 Have fun!

Trnsfer contacts to sim iphone 4

As a matter of fact, iPhone won't save contacts to SIM card. However, you can utilize an Android phone to finish this task. Just follow below steps. Step 1. Go to the Contacts app on your iPhone, find those contacts you would like to transfer to SIM card. Then tap "Share Contact" and share these contacts via email. Step 2. Download the vCards you just shared via email on your Android phone. Go to Contacts app on Android phone, then you can choose "Import from USB storage". Step 3. Go to Contacts app to check if contacts have already been imported to your Android phone. Then go back to "Import/Export contacts" again, this time you should tap "Export to SIM card". Of course you need to put the SIM card into the Android phone before this step. With this way, you can copy a limited number of contacts from iPhone to SIM card. This isn't a direct and simple way to transfer iPhone contacts to SIM card. You need the extra help of an Android phone, and you also need to type emails one by one to import SIM contacts. Although, it is a good way to back up the contacts by coping them to SIM card, you can also use other backup methods to save the contacts, like use data backup programs or back up them to the cloud. For more details, check: How to Transfer Contacts from iPhone to SIM

Innovage digital keychain - won't turn on

I've now returned the original keychain, bought another.... same thing. Returned, bought a third.... same thing. Never works unless plugged into a USB port. I sat on hold two times to customer support for over a half hour. They were useless, one blamed it on the store that they must have damaged it. The other blamed it on the USB cable - which didn't make sense. If it can download pictures, the cable should be fine. I played the game anyway and swapped cables - same result. These things are just pieces of crap!

I need the plate with the screw that you put on the camera to fix on tripod T260

Try the mfr, or Ebay. Or ask at your local second-hand photo dealer - they often have a 'rummage bin'.

I can't find the reset button on the samsonite b-lite luggage locks. The diagram has arrow pointing to the bottom left of the first number but there is no button there -?

Instead of looking for a button, look for a small hole where you can insert something small and thin to push the internal button to reset.

Film cartage broke missing parts

To repair this camera will be well over $100; my opinion not worth it. You would be better served purchasing another camera of the same type from ebay. An alternative terrific camera is the Pentax K1000, better yet K1000 SE. The SE has a split viewfinder, easy to focus. The K1000 have microprism that are more difficult to focus with especially in lower light; need good eyes. Then there is the Pentax K2, that at the time was their top of the line camera. All three cameras can be purchased for about $100-ish. Most will come with the Pentax 50mm f/2.0 lens.

How can i take the best pictures

you just cannot lurn to take good photos over night, it takes years of practice and hard work, mixed with sweat and frustration and you may still not take a good photo,,, it takes more that just "clicking away" to get it right, read books on this as many as you can just to get an idear of what and how to get the best composition and depth of field,, to make your photos stand out,,the photos you dont like just beleat,,,but please dont be put off by what other people say about your work,, its yours,, not theres! if you wont to show some to them only show them a fuw photos,,, not the lot, or you will bore them i have been taking photos for 50 years now, and i can honestly say iv only realy took about 30 that i realy liked,, others have won prises,, but i never realy liked them?
beauty is only in your eyes and not in every bodys eyes
just go out and take photos of what ever you like or takes your fancy
then realy look at them to see them from another way then take that
