How to Reset a Password on a D-Link Router
Use a pen or a paper clip to push the "Reset" button on
the back of the router. Keep the button held down for approximately five
seconds.
Open
a web browser on a machine that is connected to the router. Type
"192.168.0.1" into the navigation text box.
Type
"admin" and leave the password blank. This is the default information
for D-Link routers. When you hold the reset button down, it resets the admin
password to blank.
Click
the "Tools" tab at the top of the D-Link admin console. In this
screen, you can reset the admin password to a new one.
Enter
the new password in the router's console section labeled "Administrator
Settings." Enter it a second time in the "Confirm Password" text
box and click the "Apply" button. The router's password has now been
reset.
