My HP Pavilion DV5000t 1.6GHz Core DUO Centrino Was on and suddenly went out, when I press the power button just blinks the battery icon two or three times. What could it be?

Hi,

The battery is discharged, you would need to charge the notebook. If the power is plugged in and still the issue is there. Remove the batter and connect the power cable without the battery and turn on the notebook (without battery). If it turns "On" the battery has gone bad.

My HP dv4269us is having sound issues. when you restart the computer the start up music is choppy to begin with. There is minimal start up material under "msconfig" so it's not that. The internet works...
You can try shutting off Audio Hardware Acceleration.

Start > Control Panel > Sounds and Audio Devices > Advanced (Under Speaker Settings) > Performance.
