Most of the Hobart LX series of dishwashers have their own built-in booster heaters. To check for one, remove the lower front panel (2 screws). The booster heater, if present, will be a stainless steel tank on the left side. If it doesn't have a built in booster heater then it was meant to be used with chemical sanitizer instead.

What type of detergent is used for a lx30c hobart undercounter dishwasher

What type of detergent is not necessarily important - anything intented for use in commercial dishwashers should be sufficient. A restaurant supply store should have something suitable for you.
Also, in case you don't already know, the LX30C is the non-booster-heater version of the LX30 (LX30H has a booster heater). Without a booster heater, you'll need to use chemical sanitizer. The LX30C should, hopefully, have a sanitizer pump installed to inject chemical sanitizer into the rinsewater stream. Most of these dishwashers also have a detergent pump to inject detergent into the wash tank and rinse aid pump for chemical rinse aid.
If present, these pumps are located in the bottom of the machine. Remove the lower front panel (2 screws) and look for the small, black plastic assemblies with 2 hoses connected to each.

I have a LXiC Hobart dishmachine I do not want to use Sanitizer because my hot water is very hot. How do you disable the sanitizer pump and alarm? H.

Do you realize that to sanitize with hot water alone requires 180 degree F water? I am a hobart technician and I've never seen any business or residence with hot water anywhere near that. Residential hot water is generally approx. 120, Commercial locations generally use approx. 140, but never near 180 (tap water that hot would be a severe safety problem). Hobart LXIH machines use a built in booster heater to boost the temperature of the incoming hot water up to the required 180 deg.

My sr24h hobart undercounter dishwasher is stuck in a mode where all it does is drain water out. Will not do anything else...???

Hello There; If your unit stuck on the wash cycle and not advance to rinse cycle because the rinse water is not up to 180 degree . You've to check out the booster element and the rinse temp. I hope this will help.

Hobart lx 18 warewasher what hatco booster heater product compatable with it

The answer to this question will be based on the incoming water temperature that is supplied to the booster heater. The standard sizing for a booster heater is based off of a 40 degree F rise (140 degree F incoming water temperature) or a 70 degree F rise (110 degree F incoming water temperature). For a 40 degree F rise, a Hatco model C-5, S-5, or PMG-60 will supply the needed amount of rinse water for the LX-18 Hobart dishwasher. A 70 degree F rise would require a Hatco model C-9, S-9, or PMG-60 to supply the same Hobart model number.
