In Italy, have Netgear router, can only get google
The first thing to do is ensure they haven't been blocked in the router. To do this, log into your router and click Block Sites on the left hand side.
If they are not displayed there, make sure it's not a DNS issue. To do this, log into your router and click Basic Settings. The change your DNS servers, to the OpenDNS servers;
1. Locate "Domain Name Server (DNS) Address "
2. Change the setting to "Use These DNS Servers"
Primary: 208.67.222.222
Secondary: 208.67.220.220
3. Click Apply, and re-boot your router
IMPORTANT: If your router is already set to "Use These DNS Servers", make sure to make a note of the IP's already in there, just incase you want to switch back, or the OpenDNS servers do not work (unlikely but possible).
Once re-booted, try accessing the previously blocked websites.
If you find they are still unavailable, check they aren't blocked directly on your computer (e.g. via a firewall or other security product). To do this, click Start > Run and type: CMD
At the prompt, enter the following and press return (do this for each line below);
nslookup {BLOCKED_DOMAIN} >> nslookup.txt
tracert {BLOCKED_DOMAIN} >> tracert.txt
Where {BLOCKED_DOMAIN} is one of the domains you cannot access.
nslookup will provide the website's current IP for you. Aslong as this is NOT an internal IP (169.*, 172.*, 192.*, 10.*), it is resolving correctly.
Tracert will allow a trace connection from your computer, to the affected websites. Lines you do not want, will contain a *.
