Flashing white screen w810i

When I had the white screen problem, I was about to replace my W810i before I found out about the Sony Ericsson Update Service (SEUS). I used it to fix the firmware inside my phone, even though the phone seemed dead and my computer wouldn't recognize it. You can download the SEUS from Sony's website here:

that is a general software error on the sony ericsson phones, the flashing screen is the phone trying to restore its software to operational status, kind of a self fix, your lucky if it has come back from that twice, as normaly thats it. try updating your software to the latest version and with any luck that will erase your problems, if not and the handsets under warranty you will need to get the handset replaced or repaired

when i put a application on my phone switches of then goes onto a blank white screen.

it is not ur phone m8t it is the screen u must of put some presure on it that s y it gose white

i was having w810i and went and charged it after removing it it was flashing white please how can i solve this problem.From bernard

alright bro, i just brought one and when turning on it just flashed white screen then turned off. i went on the sony ericsson website and downloaded the update program and ran it. phone is fine now..... hope this is helpful. p.s anyone know how to unlock one of these for free???

the best solution for that prob. is re-program it...

HAVE IT RE-FLASH. OR BRING IT BACK IF ITS STILL UNDER WARRANTY

i had that problem once
what we could do is reformat the phone
and refrain from downloading stuffs again
or if the problem still occur
we could try and fix the driver
