It looks like you have the wrong batteries for your tools. Lithium Ion tools are designed to shut off the tool when the battery nears discharge. They don't ever want the tool to grind to a halt like with nicad batteries. It will ruin the batteries. So they cut it off early.

Hello don... check to be sure that the tools are 18 volt and not 12 volt. If they are 18v then go to this website to contact ryobi directly https://register.ryobitools.com/contact_us/new

Who rebuilds ryobi 18 volt li ion batteries

Rebuilding the Lithium batteries is a waste of time and money. For starters the cells cost a minimum of $5 ea and a low power pack takes 5, so now you are in for $25 without doing any work. You can pick up packs on eBay for around $30 - $40 if you shop around. If you know what you are doing, you can strip cells from bad packs and test them to find good ones and then rebuild with those. It can be tricky and you may get mixed results.

Is there a difference between the ryobi p103 lithium battery and the ryobi p106 lithium battery?

p103 is name of the battery. p106 is the kit with 2 p103 batteries. same thing just 2 times. the p104 however is bigger and holds more juice.

I bought 2 P103 lithium batteries and they will not take a charge from my one + (p110) charger. I was informed that these components are all interchangeable. Will the P103s work with the blue 18v ryobi...

That is true the One+ 18V Li-Ion battery packs will work in any One+ 18V Ryobi tool. However the Lithium ion batteries will not charge in the original P110 NiCd charger. You will need one of the the new series Ryobi One+ 18V "dual chemistry" chargers for that. The will charge both types of battery packs.

I can't belive this you are the forth person in the last three days that is haveing a problem with these batterys the same problem with the lithium-ion RYOBI combo pack batterys. People are saying they won't hold more then 5 volts and they all got them at christmas. There has to be a big problem with the battery. Although there is no warranty on the battery it self there is a warrany on faulty workmanship and i think you may have to get in line i think this will be a big recall so file now good luck

What Ryobi batteries p103 or p104 will a battery charger that came with my p100 batteries charge? Or will the charger work with these batteries?

If you have a P100 NiCad battery, the charger for that will not charge the new Lithium Ion P103 or P104 batteries. You need a specialised Ryobi Lithium Ion battery charger like this one

New Ryobi 18v lithium battery goes dead after a couple of seconds. Is there any solution other than returning it?

No, just return it, for the money they should give you one that works. It is common to get a defective Ryobi 18v lithium battery. I've had 2 out of 7 purchased that wouldn't hold a charge. But when you get a good one they work awesome!
