I have a D-Link WBR-1310 router. It worked fine on Thursday evening. Now my laptop and my TIVO cannot even detect the router. I have tried resetting it and even unplugging the router and plugging it back in. My desktop, which is directly connected to the router, is able to access the internet while connected to the router. Why is it not transmitting a wireless signal throughout my house? Do I need to reinstall the software or is there a fix that I can download? I have had this router for 2 years and have never had issues until now. Thanks.

I suggest you RESET the D-Link back to the default setting and configure the wireless settings again.
To reset the D-Link back to the default settings -
Press and hold the RESET button at the back of the router with the power ONuntil the LEDs flash at the time the release the RESET button.
Connect a LAN cable from the D-Link to your laptop/computer's LAN port, openthe browser on your laptop/computer and enter the D-Link's configuration URL..
http://192.168.0.1
The default login = admin
The default PW = blank (just press Enter) You can now change the default password.
You can now configure the wireless settings. Now configure the wireless card in your computer/laptop withthe router's wireless settings.

Cant connect to the router, one computer can, but the rest cannot even detect the router, wirelessly or lined

Make sure that your computer is able to go online directly through the modem.
If your computer is able to go online through the modem, that means the modem is working fine.
You will need to connect the computer to the router and the modem to the router.
open the set up page of the router and change the settings of the router according to the ISP.

My WBR-1310 doesn't do wireless to my laptop.

theres a couple of version of this router http://www.dlink.com/products/default.aspx?pid=WBR-1310&tab=3 I'm using the manual from here http://www.dlink.com/products/?tab=3&pid=WBR-1310&rev=WBR-1310
on a working PC download and install this program http://www.xirrus.com/library/wifitools.php this will detect all the wireless signals being broadcast - see if the router is actually broadcasting - if it is detected on your PC then it may be that 1) the firewall is blocking access or 2) the security code is entered wrong - -log into the router and remove the wireless security and see if you can now detect

I have installed wbr-1310 to main puter but cannot install on lap

Make sure the wireless capabilities are turned on on your router.
On your computer scan for available networks and it should detect the router.
Once detected it will ask you for the Passkey/WEP/Secutity Key.
You should have a note of this when you originally set up your wireless connection.
If not then your computer network set up wizard may 'kick in' and just follow the instruction.
Remember to keep a note of your PASSKey/WEP as you will require it in future

Good luck

No connection

No, it sounds like your authentication or encryption is wrong. Authentication should be "open" encryption can be WEP, WPA or WPA2, and can be in alphanumeric characters (ASCII) or restricted alphanumeric (HEX) with numbers 0 to 9 and letters A to F only.
Are you able to detect the wireless network broadcast? (SSID). Are you able to get a wireless connection AND a legitimate IP address? Try tunning "ipconfig" from a command prompt, your IP should NOT be 169.254.(anything).
